On the offensive end he is a pure scorer, so in the passing and playmaking department he leaves a lot to be desired. Though it is not his game, Hinson has never averaged over 1.4 assists per contest in his four-year college career. He works mainly off-ball and relies on his guards to playmake, so the skill set of creating for others is not a trait of Hinson’s. On the other side of the ball, the defense leaves some room for improvement. The forward has never averaged more than 0.6 steals or 0.5 blocks. For someone who is 6-foot-8 and possesses great length, it will be interesting to see if the lack of productivity on the defensive end is a knock on him as a prospect. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !

Last year they picked up an undersized KCP clone. This looks like an XL Discount Buddy Hield. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
I remember when they picked up a UDFA named Reaves. I'm giving the guy a shot. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
Lol, he’s more athletic but yeah, same role same project, it’s an ok 2-way signing _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“
24 years old might be able to get a roster spot at 6'8.
His height + high volume shooting ability if he shoots relatively well in the Summer League and pre-season he'll definitely have a staying spot. His style is essentially the kind Redick SHOULD know how to maximize. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

There's like a 99% chance he doesn’t make the league like any other undrafted player. Would be nice if he did but maybe we should keep expectations realistic. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
