Gabe will be a factor and DLO isn't going to dissappear. They are going to have to deal with him this series. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

Nuggets vs Lakers last playoffs:
Nuggets 132-126 Lakers
Nuggets 108-103 Lakers
Nuggets 119-108 Lakers
Nuggets 113-111 Lakers
games was close with 80% lebron and dlo slump
no bruce brown now.
reg season vs denver aint matter coz bron is different animal in playoffs.
Im still positive that Lakers can win this series, specially if they will get 1 win in Denver.

This graphic says it all. He averaged 20/6 on 45% from the field, 40% from 3 during last year's regular season.
He's always elevated his game in the playoffs so his averages against other teams in the playoffs went up noticeably. What we can't have is him scoring 8 more points a game against us than against every other playoff team. Just 2 more misses a game and it's a totally different series. We'll see if Gabe can make a difference.
We can concede Murray having great games, but we can't have him going ape-(bleep) all over us. _________________ KOBE |

I assume AR guards Murray, and DLO will be on KCP. |

This is the series that we need Hayes to play well. He gave us a good spark when we played big against them in one of our home games.

The thing we need in this series though is to rebound better. Look at when we beat them en route to our championship, we kept Jokic off the boards.
We really need guys to help out AD on the glass. If we can't keep him from getting offensive boards then all the defense in the world isn't going to matter. |

The fundamental nature/tenure of this matchup (especially defensively) has to change - which is unlikely
or
Our team needs to play unsustainably well to where the Nuggets feel the stress - which is unlikely
Hence, we are very likely to lose. |

Unless Murray is injured the Lakers are getting swept.
Murray is better than anyone on our team not named Lebron. |

Laker fans have changed man, or maybe these snowflake fans have always been around, and we just didn't have social media. |
Couldn’t agree more! Well said! It’s not like the Lakers automatically get the 8th seed with a loss is such a strong point that it’s hard for me to understand those actively sad the Lakers won. It was bad enough rooting for it but now after the win you would think even the lose-ie-est of losers would face the forced challenge. Wanting to lose to avoid the pain of losing a tougher challenge is a bad recipe, not only for basketball, but for life in general. (Heard that from Trevor today, cool rant!) _________________ “When it looks as if it is a realistic possibility, I want to focus on winning a ship like it’s a goal that can’t be denied. 4 days rest til game 1 is good enough for bron to recuperate.
probably there will be 2 days rest between game 1 and 2 then game 2 and 3, so good enough rest for bron.
also hoping for nuggets to be rusty in game 1 with 6 days rest.
with all that and they couldnt steal 1 in denver then I think that's it for them.

Maybe not....remember the 1998 Lakers were the hottest team in the league going into the Western Conference Finals and dusted off the 61 win Sonics in an easy 5 games and were boasting how they would get revenge on Utah for the year before????
They got even more embarrassed than they did in 1997.
Thats why I say the fundamental tenure has to change or else the Lakers will lose again. Similar to how the Pelicans stand no chance against us in a series. Likewise vs Denver. |

Seriously I don't know why so many people were confident the Lakers would beat GS or the Queens. |

Not a failure when you are going up against a juggernaut that would have convincingly beaten all the champions starting from the Raptors with only the 2020 Lakers really putting up a great fight. |

One thing that makes the Nuggets tough is they play as a team and they go on those runs at key parts of a game, especially in the second half. That's what championship teams do.
Our best chance to steal one of the first two games at their pad may be Game 1. We'll have three full days of rest, while they'll have five full days of rest. Hopefully they'll be a bit rusty and overconfident on Saturday. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |
