rest AD. Play the winner of GS/Kings with a fully rested healthy AD win and go on to play OKC.

We aren't beating Denver

That’s loser mentality, and not ideal for do or die games
If we have to play Denver then so be it

NO will come out guns blazing next game…be ready for that. And no, do NOT tank the game just to avoid Denver. We could miss playoffs altogether pulling a stunt like that

“No doubt that I’m going to play” he says of Tuesday.

Is this supposed to be the game thread for the play-in game? Should I feel superstitious ?!?

One of our best performances of the season today. Left no doubt.

As for Tuesday, I would not tempt fate or the basketball gods by engineering a matchup with OKC.

Take care of business. We are due to beat the McNuggets.

Dude watch the games.....you think its a fluke he is having bad games against Bron and AD? Notice also most people back in the day also used to struggle when guarded by Garnett and Duncan....except Shaq and.....Bynum. There is always a reason for these things.

getting the nuggets in the 1st round is ideal. Nick Wright was right that if we cant beat them, then why hope to get them later. Get them now and if we lose, we lose. But if we win, that would be so sweet.

If the nuggets did want the Lakers, then they have us. I would love to knock them out so bad.

lol

might as well play denver early when bron is still not dead tired. If they cant win it then they have no business going deep in the playoffs, that means that they aint good.

Draymond and Lebron defended Zion the Same way. Just gap him and cut off his lane. If he gets too deep the help is there.

Pelicans are the most Jekyl and Hyde team all season. When they get going they're able to beat anyone. When off, they can lose to anyone. It's hard to really understand what team will show up. Been their story all season.

I expect them to play a lot better in this game. I personally don't like playing the same team twice. Especially after a blow out.

This is only a discussion for fans

We know in a million years Lakers nation would never allow that

I don't like the idea of playing to not win, I wouldn't even want to tune in for that. Lets get a rematch with Denver. We faced them when they were hot and healthy. They are a little more banged up this year, and we faced them in the conference finals when they were really clicking on all cylinders.

Hopefully Vando is ready to play, we need him.

We want the Nuggets later because there's a chance some other team might eliminate them for us. Why is it so hard for people to understand? If we play them now in the first round, then we 100% face them, there is no other possibility that we will not face them.

What I want is the easiest path to a championship. I don't care if we have to dodge them or do whatever. I will swallow my pride or whatever. Call me a coward for wanting to dodge the Nuggets as long as I get championship 18. That's all that matters. Years from now, people wouldn't even know who we played or who was even on the team. They would just remember championship number 18.

What are you talking about? Stupidest take I have seen. No team is dropping a game on purpose to play a 1 and done. They should have won more in the regular season. They play who they play.
