No to the question. The winner of the 7th vs 8th playin game gets the 7th seed in the playoffs regardless of reg season record. So if the Lakers beat the Pels to end the season to be 8th in standings and then beat the Pels again in the 7th vs 8th playin game the Lakers would be the 7th seed in the playoffs regardless of what happens afterwards. |
Okay, got it! Cause I was puzzled why it mattered to TrebleClef who wins the Pelicans vs GS/Kings match.
Look at us already pencilling in the Lakers. LOL! |

As much as I want to stay optimistic with our Lakers can’t lie and say I don’t share Nobody’s pessimism for today.
Biggest glaring fact is we aren’t 100%. The Pelicans with BI and Marshall returning are 100%
I’ve been on the belief that Vando’s injury isn’t as bad as reports claim and they are saving his services for the postseason. Would of been the perfect game to return if my conspiracy theory was true.
Now I’m starting to have doubt with him contributing anymore for this season |

I follow the peli’s social media all because of BI.
He’s been practicing full contact the past 2 weeks.
They literally kept him on ice for the postseason due to his past injury issues.
Need Lebron and RUI to take these matchups with BI and Jones serious. |

If Suns win, we will play Pelicans for the right to play Denver.
