This game should be used to kickstart the Lakers after the In Season Tournament letdown. Charlotte is 7-21. Brandon Miller, LaMelo Ball, and Gordon Hayward are limping. I trust the Lakers will not think this is a cakewalk and not come ready to play.

FYI:
Hornets looked good last night and almost knocked off the Clips.

Hornets are 7-21. A broken clock is correct twice a day. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Lakers’ injury report for tomorrow vs. Charlotte:
— Jarred Vanderbilt is probable.
— Anthony Davis (left ankle sprain/bone bruise), LeBron James (left knee contusion$ and Cam Reddish (left groin soreness) are questionable.
— Gabe Vincent (left knee effusion) is out.

Probably a good game to rest Lebron and/or AD. Hornets are so bad without LaMelo. _________________ Yi Jianlian Fanboy. Respect The Chair.

Hornets are really bad. LeBron and AD should not be needing to play extended minutes tonight. |

Perfect Game for Darvin Scam to go "Oh look! This non offensive starting lineup actually does work! See!?!?!?" I usually am not one for name calling of coaches, but he's Scam until further notice. And that notice is the day he decides to be a competent coach and put DLO and AR back in the starting lineup and moving Prince and Reddish to the bench and run our best starting lineup of DLO/AR/Vando/LBJ/AD the fact he's only played them one minute all season and looks for whatever reason to justify it is where the idiocy starts.
Tonight is a perfect opportunity to win a game in spite of that lineup and go "See!? It can work" and then stubbornly stick with it for 5 games while we get torn apart by real teams. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Someone tell me what the likely outcome is if we lose tonight, Jeanie Buss selling the team? A fire sale at the trade deadline? I’m just curious cause nothing surprises me with this team |

Nothing. Except maybe Ham will change the lineup again. Wishful thinking though. He SHOULD do that without us having to lose embarrassingly first. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers cruise or if they are in a dogfight, honestly. |

You would not seriously expect a reaction?
This team could lose by 40 again and the excuses and “we have to be better, but we were tired or injured, just wait til the playoffs” narratives would be the same.
Just win. I would like to be entertained when I watch later. Go Lakers! |

It's not even that -- I can actually seeing this lineup causing serious defensive issues for a (bleep) backcourt missing their lead guard, and Ham saying "See this is exactly what we want -- disruptive defense etc." And this ignores the fact that this kind of lineup works best against teams with (bleep) lead ballhandlers.
Incidentally I would've been really interested in some kind of weird lineup of like AR/ Reddish/ Vando/ Rui/ AD against opposing benches where they are just hounding and abusing bench guards with weaker handles/ decision making/ shot making. Maybe even sub LeBron in for AD and make it a switch-based, aggressive defense |

Ham's frame of mind is..
If we struggle, then it's because guys are new to their roles... and the terrible lineup needs more time and guys just have to get shots.
If DLO and Reaves went out and had consecutive 50 point triple doubles and the Reddish, Vando and Prince combined for 5 points he'd say "Well clearly DLO and Reaves are in the right place coming off the bench. But I need Reddish and Vando and them to step up offensively and just shoot with confidence. Or when it gets to the 'real' teams it's going to be even harder."
But it WON'T be "Maybe I should start DLO and Reaves again with Vando, and bring Reddish and Prince off the bench."

Yep I know. I've posted that a few times. But I'm copying and pasting what people say and the Lakers are still putting him on their official injury report. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |
