We already won a MUST WIN game. It was the last game the In Season Tournament Championship game. I'm of a school that believes close out games are the only MUST WIN games.

This game will indicate where we are. Kyrie is a question, will he or will he not play? His heel is not completely healed. Luka is a superstar who will probably get his. Who's going to guard him? Seth Curry, Tim Hardaway Jr, and Markieff Morris are capable of going off on any given night. AD is key. Will he bring the In Season Tournament energy and focus? If he does we'll win this one.

GO LAKERS!!!

They have been averaging about 50 ppg on 3 point shots, the Lakers will need to defend that.

Kyrie likely is out. They will still be very tough as Luka gets up for LBJ games, but feel alot more confident with our perimeter D being so strong!

I find it hard to believe Kyrie's injury is just a bruise. I hope its nothing serious but I would be very surprised if he laces up for this game.

Luka still going to go crazy on us, like he does on everyone. monster.

This is a game that helps define where the Lakers are in the pecking order of competitors. There were close initial games against the Kings and Magic that upon a rematch, resulted in blow out near wire-to-wire defeats when we played them again. The initial game vs the Mavs was close so it will be interesting to see if the Lakers win or get blown out on the rematch.

Even tho the record is decent at 14-9, it’s 11-2 against teams outside of the top 6 in each conf and just 3-7 against top 12 teams. The Mavs, as a top 12 team currently 3rd in the West, is a test to see if the win will catapult the Lakers to 3rd/4th in the West, or if the Lakers, with a loss, is more like a playin team at this time.

I can never argue against that phenomenon. One day science will step in and study it

Last game, we didn't have our defensive wings to guard Luka, now that they're back and Kyrie likely out, gonna need to get this W.

I expect LeBron and AD to get mini vacation after that run.

Yeah I started to post (in injuries thread) but I decided not to post it yet because I was like OK let me wait and see what actually happens tomorrow. But you know those folks are going to find a way to play tomorrow.

The Mavs are missing half their team AND it’s a back to back for them? This could get ugly.

Bruises can be serious (word to Kendrick Nunn). I think it’s safe to say that even though they’re saying there’s nothing broken or whatever, he isn’t going to be playing anytime soon.
