You didn’t see a human that was coaching, you saw a black man. There has been some progress in race relations over time where the NOP coach is seen as a human being that just happens to be a black man. It’s subtle sure, but significant. The coach, qualified for the knock out round, beat the Kings, then got blitzed by a HOFer that understood the significance of a playoff atmosphere. That is hardly a reason to recommend firing. So it came across as racist identifying the human as “black coach” instead of just coach.
Now…the veil of not knowing has been removed. What say you?

BI, CJ, and Jonas had terrible games as well with 9 points each.
No one on New Orleans scored more than 14
