I've noticed most of the focus is on Jokic. Denver is a deep good perimeter shooting team flying under the radar. Let's look at some of the other players. To name a few.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 10.8pts 46.2FG% 42.3 3pt%
Bruce Brown Jr. 11.5pts 48.3FG% 35.8 3pt%
Aaron Gordon 16.3pts 56.4FG% 34.73pt%
Jamal Murray 20.0pts 45.4FG% 39.83pt% 6.2ast
Michael Porter Jr 17.4pts 48.7FG% 41.43pt%
They're also playing at Ball Arena which is Mile High. The Lakers have their work cut out for them. Plus Denver is the #1 team in the West. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Denver has won all their playoff games at home and has won 10 of their past 11 home games. Not going to be easy. Draymond's advice is you need to take away scoring or passing from Jokic. If he's able to do both you lose. Taking passing away is easier.

Anybody recall the game 1 lines for round 1 and 2? |
The Grizzlies were -4.5
The warriors were -4.5 |

It's the rematch of the 2020 WCF but with a much improved Joker. But I think our supporting cast is better as well so overall, we still have the edge. Lakers in 5. Same story same ending. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

That's interesting as the game 6 against PHX was on Thursday. Maybe he's still feeling lingering symptoms or its something new completely.
In any case, I expect him to be out there playing for their game 1 loss against the Lakers |

Keep Jokic from getting a triple double. He can score 30 and have a few blocks but guard the assists. _________________ ////////// |

This is my concern with Denver also.
Gordon, Brown, Porter are all very good and can hurt you bad if they get going. My thing is force Jokic to be a scorer instead of a playmaker.
Even if he goes for big numbers, statistically they don't win as much when he has to score huge amounts instead of getting everyone else involved.
Must stick tight to Murray right from the start so he doesn't get going. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Phoenix best game of the series was when Jokic scored 50+.
Not saying to allow Jokic 50+, just that the no depth Suns beat Jokic as the rest of the team didn’t do anything. |

Jokic is the key to the Nuggets. We need a completely healthy AD to contain him one on one defensively and challenge him on the offensive end. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples |
