If the dominant AD shows up it doesn’t matter what adjustments GSW make Lakers will have a chance to win!

Agree with everyone, Jamalchal Green whatever you spell it, had his Tillman/Powe moment. I wonder if Kerr will bring Looney back on the starting lineup.
No way, they might start Jordan Poole though, in that case AD would have to guard DG and they can run the PNR again.
Starting Looney will allow lebron and AD to sit in the paint all night
I dont think they would start Poole....its too high risk of a scenario when they can get the same similar spacing effect with JaMychal. They could do that to the guard heavy Kings lineup but against this size and skill with Poole's tendency for really good and really bad games....too high a risk
Sure start Poole, we'll eat him alive; his BBIQ is suspect & his defense is non-existent
They have less levers to pull, but I can absolutely see this because AD cants guard him outside. The goal is to get AD to guard DG so they can run the curry PNR, but obviously they give up more size by playing this lineup.
I think now our adjustment should be to bench Vando and start Rui and switch everything. That will be an adjustment they dont see coming and I really see it working for us. Draymond switched onto anyone wont kill us but him rolling downhill on a 4 v 3, unless AD continues to demonstrate handsy skills that blows up their pick and roll - which is a high risk strategy - can cause problems for us. I want a sustainable defense, not one relying on Warriors shooters to miss wide open shots.
[/quote]Noteworthy that Vando was effective in limiting Draymond's effectiveness and when they do a 5 (Draymond) - 1 (Curry) switch, Lakers are back to a defensive strategy that worked in the first game. Ham would be ok if Vando switched onto Klay

With Rui, he is having problems effectively defending Klay or Poole and definitely Curry because of his lack of lateral speed on defense.

Draymond doesn't roll downhill often. What is his effectivenes scoring in the paint with AD lurcking somewhere on the court.

I feel good about this one. GS is ready to implode. This year has been a struggle for them and we are not the baby Kings.

Never heard of Curtis Blair.

Scott Foster was part of the game 4, 2009 finals fix. I don’t know why we like these assignments.

I’m half joking. But Foster did eject Dillon Brooks in the first round. He ejected Draymond in the finals a few years ago and gave him his 7th T resulting in a suspension.

The Lakers won game 4 of the 2009 finals though?

AD is going to break the good game, bad game trend. He's home eating home cooking, and sleeping in his own bed. Darvin Ham is gonna pep talk him, LeBron James is gonna pep talk him.

Lakers game plan is to hold Steph under 27 That tells you what they think of Steph. 27 is low for Steph? DAMN!

AD IS GONNA SHOW UP!

GO LAKERS!!!

All these series going 2-2. Not one is a 3-1. NBA is going to make it real tough on the Lakers to win this, but...we need to hold home court bADly!!!! When down 2-0, NBA made sure home court ties up series. Lakers are going to have to dominate to get this one....

That was a long time ago. Foster has been great for the Lakers for years.

I don't subscribe to NBA interfering with series. How would they accomplish that? Referees would have to be involved. I don't think officials would put their jobs on the line. Tim Donaghy got caught gambling. I'm thinking officials monitor themselves. I don't think the league would join in fixing series.

Some talk on Reddit and elsewhere about who we the Lakers would be better off facing Phoenix or Denver. SMH! We're playing the the champs right now. The degree of difficulty is as high as it's going to get IMHO.

The line went down to Lakers -2.5.

ESPN analytics give the Lakers a 66% chance of winning tonight.

Polls Smolls. Tonight's game will tell me who has the better team. Which team leaders will step up to the plate? Bron is a team leader. AD is a team leader.

Also which others will shine? AR is an other, Vando is an other, Rui is another. Green is a other, Poole is a other. Who ever others step up will be the determining factor.

Coaching is on display.

LET'S BRING IT!!!
