Hope Lakers work on counters for zone defense because if the Lakers get another lead more of that is coming.

A little nervous to see how Ham adjusts to Kerr's adjustments.

Kerr will adjust their defense in G2. I don’t think the Lakers get 29 FT attempts in G2.

For the Lakers, Vanderbilt wearing down Curry is the key on defense. On offense, hopefully the right guys shooting 3s.

AD and Lebron needs to have a monster game for them to win this game! Supporting cast needs to step up! Going to get the best punch from the Warriors!

Only reason he gets all those rebounds is because AD has to defend the paint. Someone else needs to move over and box him out. Downside of not having another big man next to AD.

Sweep them up. Expect to play against the refs in this game as they would try their best to extend the series for as long as possible.

Most of his rebounds are our bricks, besides 1-2 possessions, I think the lakers did a great job on him

He has less levers to pull. I expect a lot of zones. Lebron in high post might be a good adjustment for Ham.

Refs will be going wild in this one, last thing the league wants is a short series

If we can keep it close, will put a ton of pressure on GSW. Curry will be firing away but with Vando, if they don’t hit him with garbage fouls he will have to work like crazy

The refs gave the Lakers almost nothing to complain about in game 1 and I expect that to continue throughout the series. If the Lakers are advancing the league is going to be happy no matter how long the series is.

Yea, I would not be shocked to see the refs screw us to try to keep the Warriors in it.

come on now. This is in our hands. We fell flat in gm2 last series. We have the formula. There is no excuse for us to not show up.Obviously, bounces can dictate RB's and sometimes shots miss, but GSW has nothing for AD. Not saying we win but I have a hard time believing if we lose it will be because of the refs.

That was Pooles best game… and two of his 3 pointers were prayers (one of the backboard and the other a wild shot when he was trying to get fouled).

Klay had a great first half… disappeared in the second (a good sign).

If Vando can keep disrupting Curry and keep making things difficult, then it’s a huge advantage. Curry made some tough tough shots. He makes tough shots. Some nights he makes more tough shots than others. I think last night he was above average on those tough shots (a good sign).

For game 2, I think it’s going to come down to stamina and intensity. Will the Lakers have enough in the tank to keep pushing. They need to have a game plan to counter the zone and small lineup that’s inevitably coming. Rui, Reaves, and Russell are going to have to make shots.

Gabriel gave them some good minutes in the first half. They are probably going to have to keep Lebron and Davis to 37-39 minutes in game 2.

They rested well on defense. This is unlike the grizzlies series.

This is why I liked drawing the Grizz first. It’s a good warm-up physically.

Yes, they run around chasing GS but that isn’t nearly as taxing as banging bodies for 48 minutes with the grit n grind.

Plus the reason it’s a good matchup is AD and Lebron get to roam around. It’s the 1-3 guys running around and they should have the legs to keep up with guys 7-10 years older than them.

What is the solution for the zone? Do we need to give Beasley minutes and hope he can hit some of those 3s?

Oh sir, I wouldnt be so sure. We had a LOT to complain about regarding the refs in Game 5 if you remember. It was so bad and obvious in that game specifically that the refs were helping Memphis.

But I agree that if we continue to feature AD with other guys touching up Looney and Green or the pick and roll so that AD gets the ball on the run/diving to the rim, not sure what GSW can do to stop that. Its when we start doing post up isos for AD from the mid-range that we start to run into trouble

lebron in High post, DLo, AR, at the wings. would not be surprised to see Beasley, but i doubt he can do worse than TBJ in terms of chasing shooters around the screen, actually he is better than TBJ at that.

We can expect GSW to play with a sense of urgency from here on out. We will have to play elite defense, they are battle tested, dangerous and playing at home.

It will take a monumental effort but that's what the playoffs are all about.

There is no doubt that this will be a stern test for the Lakers. GSW knows that a Laker win here and it's over!
