Go in there and kick them in the teeth and steal game one. Set the tone for the series. Go Lakers!

I guess we’ll see how legit our defense is this series. Better keep a body on Looney at all costs…

They will be underdogs in every series they play.

Warriors are usually a terrible road team, except for today's game 7. Need to steal one and close it out in 6.

I think the Lakers will have an advantage for game 1 being that they've had three days off to prepare. The Warriors have a quick turnaround with only one day off. I love our chances to go in and steal game 1.

Any Bay Area Laker fans want to go to this as a group?

I don't think they had Wiggins or Curry in some of those games. Warriors are better when they are complete.

Yeah, the Kings beat them in the regular season too.
Fortunately we have some play-off seasoned vets that should be able to handle the pressure.

We didn't have Bron either when we went to the Bay area and won. First game of DLo, Vando post trade.

Im actually confident in this series although admittedly, the Kings would have been a lot simpler. Beating the Warriors will be good for the confidence of our young guys and really believing we can win the title. We are kinda like on our 2008 run with hopefully a much better ending because these Celtics are not as good and dont have the togetherness and leadership as those Celtics.

How about taking one game at a time. And we could have lost game 1 at Memphis if Morant didn't get hurt. That game was close.

No way.....that game was always meant to be ours. We controlled the pace and flow of that game from start to finish and they were lucky to have a halftime lead. Anyone critically analyzing that game knew we were the better team. You think Morant of all people was going to alter the "Im him" moment????

That game was close when Morant got injured. Could have gone either way.

Like I said the Warriors look like us from 2011 - a title team running on fumes with major chemistry and connectivity issues whereas we look like the 2011 Mavericks.

Could have gone either way implies you think 50-50. More like 75-25, we were winning whether he plays or not and that 25 is generous.

It doesn't matter. It seems to me you think this series is going to be easy by thinking they could take 2 games in GS.

What were the chemistry issues with our 2011 team? 57-25, the same record as 07-08 and 09-10, and the #2 seed. I remember it more as Pau disappearing for some reason (some speculated Shannon Brown sleeping with his girlfriend) and Kobe being on the verge of retirement from a bone-on-bone knee. And even then, we were right there with the Mavs during every game except the last one.

Attack! Attack! Attack! Wear them out trying to defend us so they don’t have the energy to shoot 3’s. Never let Curry, Thompson, Poole, Wiggins get comfortable or relaxed.

Could be. In terms of talent it shouldnt be. But in terms of talent and matchups, we should have swept Dallas in 2011 not the other way around. They held practically zero advantages over us back then. But one team was peaking and coming together, the other was a fading champion running on fumes with chemistry issues. We most likely wont sweep GSW but I think harder matchups are ahead than this one. Even if we take a 3-1 lead on these dudes, it will be unlikely we close them out in the Bay and that Game 6 will have all of us on pins and needles like the Memphis game.
