LeBron is shooting 18.5% from three

What's weird is that the people who should be shooting the threes are shut down after they miss a few yet Bron always has the green light.

At least AD is shooting them way less and only taking them in wide open, end of clock situations, but LBJ needs to do the same.

Reaves, DLo, Malik need to keep shooting them until they start going in.

Is this right? 18.5%? LMAO lawd.

I mean on the bright side, the law of averages has to kick in - he is a mediocre shooter at worst from three, he is due for 5-6 made threes game if he is really shooting that poorly

Who's being shut down? Reaves is taking them as they're available. DLo is taking more than he should be, frankly. Beasley should just never see the floor.

FYI: Neither team is great from the 3 Point arch.
The Lakers shoot 34.6% (25th), while the Grizz check in at #23 with 35.1 %.
The team that gets hot from deep will have the best chance at winning this game.
LBJ and Beasley are overdue. I think LBJ's deep ball will be fine but Beasley has to put up or pack it in for the rest of the series.

Darvin Ham said that he expects Anthony Davis to play through his hip injury in Game 5 on a conference call with reporters today. Davis received treatment last night and today.

“I’m not worried about him,” Ham said. “He’ll be ready to go. He assured me of that.”

That's a misleading figure. The Lakers are at 37% from 3 in their last 20 games, which is roughly the post-trade-deadline stretch. Grizzlies, surprisingly, were at 37.5% themselves.

If the Lakers can maintain 37% from three..... it's a wrap!

Hopefully, LeBron and AD are stressing the importance of winning this game. The rest could do wonders to the Lakers given they have played multiple OT games recently, and the Warriors could go 7 with the Kings with Fox playing.

That's what we have to do. As BandwagonLBJhopper said, LeBron needs to come out with guns blazing and set the tone. If we at least keep it close through the first half, maybe we can run them out of the gym for a stretch in the second half and make them quit.

It's up to the Grizzlies to prove they even have a formidable punch. It just feels like they don't have enough offense to create and maintain separation.

Am I crazy to think lakers don’t come out like game 2? I think lakers will be aggressive with paint offense and trying to get DLo hot early (not with 3s lol)

Having a formidable punch and creating/maintaining separation are two different things though.

If the Lakers come out with the same aggression and intensity they've had the last two games, they can withstand that punch and keep things close until they can deliver the knockout punch in Game 5.

Lebron James was 39-11,
Michael Jordan was 30-13, Kobe Bryant was 32-16 and Tim Duncan was 35-14 in closeout games.

Don't worry, Lebron is always aggressive in a closeout game.

Agree wholeheartedly!

I’m wearing my Lakers’ colored glasses on this one. I see a very hard fought but professional close out game.

Memphis plays hard but makes the mistakes of playing with desperation. Bad shots and bad fouls get them frustrated and the Lakers stay focused on both ends and pull away for a double digit win.

My biggest concern always lies with the lapses the Lakers have. In the playoffs those get you beat. Play a solid full 48mins and this series is over.

Earn the win and the rest!

LeBron's 3 pt shot has been on life support all season. While the ceiling relies on he and AD to make jump shots, he needs to keep his attempts down to 4-5 a game. Mix in more post work.

Still a better 3 point shooter than Malik Beasley .

This one will be tough, but hopefully we hold up after the early punch and then take over.

We need one more dominant 2 way AD game. Maybe this is the night.
