If Bron is dropping 3s and driving the freight train to the rim and AD's protecting the rim, dominating in the paint and his mid range game is on this is an easy win.

Interesting that the oddsmakers think this series is a toss-up but then again, in the wild, wild West this year any team from 1 thru 8 could beat any team. The number 1 seed isn't that much better than the number 8 seed. Could be a very competitive playoffs.

Lebron unfortunately is no longer that dominant force. he can't just drive to the basket every trip down. if he is still that guy, we would be favored by a lot. the days of Lebron singlehandedly take down a team ended in 2020/2021 after Soloman jones step on his ankle. |

Lakers must have a decent first quarter and be close at half time...
Can't rely too much on the 4th quarter comebacks...
and everyone NOT named Lebron/AD needs to show-up and perform, no 1 for 7 FG's allowed..

Key term IF. IMO the reason Bron's taking so many jumpers and not driving the rim as much is he's a master of pacing himself. Every game I've seen this season when he's healthy he's been a freight train to the rim on occasion. When both are healthy AD and Bron are a dynamic duo. My concern is can they do it for multiple 7 game series? An easy win is an overstatement of a zealous die hard Lakers fan.

not sure why people are saying Vando cant guard Ja.
He shut down Booker pretty well.
Vando can give Ja a lot of space as well, and his long reach can still bother his shot.
he is the perfect defender against Ja. |
