The Kings home arena is electric. Assuming they advance past the first round, they're going to need it against Memphis. I can see why they try for as high a seed as possible.
Also, I wonder if they specifically want to draw the Lakers.
Maybe they see it as their chance to finally knock us out of the playoffs. It would give their team and fans incredible momentum should they move forward. It would be like winning the ring for them, without winning it.
I hope they go for it at their peril. Sending the kings packing, again, would be so fitting the first year they get back into the playoffs.

Durant (ankle management), Booker (rest), Paul (rest), Ayton (rest) have all been officially ruled out for Suns vs. Lakers with Phoenix clinching No. 4 seed on Thursday night.
Kings won 3 of 4 so they probably feel confident with Lakers matchup. They will not beat the Warriors if Warriors are at full strength.
2 of the 3 were super close and 2 of them without AD, 1 without LBJ. they haven't played the team after trade deadline. what exactly are they confident about?
How many OTs will we have to play tonight? 🤔 _________________ “You have to dance beautifully in the box that you are comfortable dancing in.” - Kobe Bryant

Lol right when I started typing, I got called back to set. But AnyWho…
Ugh, if only we had won the Clippers game, we would have gotten the #6 seed. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Kings have been the better team this year so they should be confident. And just being honest, the Warriors are more formidable if they have everyone.
