CP3 has scored 30 points or more only once this season. He's not a volume scorer anymore.
It's Booker that I hope Vando can shut down. |
I hope Booker scores 40 and we win by double digits |

One?
Lakers need to make it up by AT LEAST winning these next 4 straight games against the Suns, Thunder, and Bulls two straight times.
Lakers have had a favorable schedule and have almost failed miserably. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Wow, with no ayton, AD has even less reason not to dominate
I hope Ham is smart enough to put vando on Booker instead of TBJ |

If they can’t take that gift and take care of business they don’t deserve to play past the regular season. |

If we can't beat them without Ayton AND Durant, we all need to step back and reassess what we are doing here.
Like we drop this, with the circumstances we are in, we got major problems. |

Lakers are good enough to win against the Suns with Ayton and KD not playing and AD having 1 of those games were he’s just standing around... Lakers have good depth and we need to not hinge our hopes on AD leading us to a W tomorrow |

There is a reason why I have been calling for AD to be traded dating back to last season, he doesn’t have it when it comes to him being the guy, don’t be shocked if he has a good stat line tomorrow but you wouldn’t even notice because he’s going through the motions giving PHX the chance to get the W |

Cheers!
I like to say, he has great stats at center, but he doesn’t have the impact of a great center. |

Ham has started to use Anthony Davis and Gabriel together
It’s look pretty good so far |

Obviously a must win game, like all of them till the end of the season.
Let's see how Ham will force Kyrie to guard somebody on defense. Previous game, Kyrie was able to just exert energy on only side of court - offense.
Translation:
If Troy Brown is not making himself a legitimate offensive threat, Kyrie will just sag completely off him
Engage in Kyrie in designated S&Rs to force him to make decisions
Kyrie has a defensive rating of 115.9,
Listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, Irving has always been an easy target for opposing offenses to hunt, and he’s been a net-negative on that end for all but one year of his career during the player-tracking era. Though his defensive impact has trended upward with each successive season in Brooklyn, his numbers remain woefully below-average for a player of his caliber and position: Last season, Irving’s negative-0.9 defensive RAPTOR ranked 41st out of 72 point guards who played at least 1,000 regular-season minutes, and he’s been an above-average defender at his position in just one season of his 12-year career.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/kyrie-irvings-stats-arent-worth-the-drama/
Ham has found that a AD/Vando/Gabriel lineup provide length and rebounds. Hopefully between Schroeder/DLo/Nails/Brown Jr. will make Kyrie's feel them and limit his space throughout the game - especially at the end of games.
Will Rui and/or Beasley show up
Players are learning how to produce under the glaer of LaLaLand as Lakers where expectations/scrutiny are the highest. Many very good players have wilted/faded/disappeared and sometimes got injured (Nash, Malone, et al)
Will this team find the way to consistently to provide the necessary energy, effort and URGENCY to win games at the highest level
We shall see
KD is injured
PG13 just got injured
Luka is injured
KAT is injured
These players are expected to return, like LBJ

The reason is all you ever talk about is trades.
Outside of that, people who understand basketball knew AD would never be "the guy". He has never been that kind of player. He is however, a great 2-way player despite not having the alpha in him as you all like to say. |
