If we still had Russ .. this game would have been an easy "L"

If the clippers are 0-5 with Russ, it’s big time evidence that he’s a big problem on the court. They have more shooters than us and have 2 top end wings.

Russ has always been Russ, but with declined athleticism and modern nba game he’s basically a detriment to any team success. Imo it’s been proven that it doesn’t matter what team/roster he’s on.

Rus is Rus and always has been. He needs to have a team built around him. It's difficult for him to fit in.

He needs to have a bench built around him.. I probably wouldn't start him on any team

Probably because of his shooting and he'll clog the lane for AD down the stretch.

"Rus is Rus" is the issue. He has the skills to contribute to winning, but he thinks that would be selling out so he keeps to his losing ways.

Like I said

Just take a game away from a team that is projected to be a loss and we’re still write in it

Half game back

A win vs Grizz next game will be big for them.

We were down without LeBron and DLO, but that's still a step up from having WB on the roster.

Exactly what I thought when I saw the game was already over and the Lakers won.

I was really down after the loss to the Timberwolves, but beating GS with Curry on the roster? That wasn't supposed to happen at all. We stole a game back. This makes up for it.

Now beat Memphis guys.

He’s probably one of the better wing defenders in the league, active on the glass, and while he’s not a lights out shooter, he can make a 3.

Should he be playing less minutes than Troy Brown, who played the most minutes on the team, and the most minutes most games?

Hams rotations are garbage. The Lakers win despite of them.

Troy isn’t the problem. Rui is who he should have took 10 minutes off

I am barely over the PRWSD, so yes I'm triggered by his name

Russ was paid $5000 per hour x 24 x 365 every day he was a Laker

And only wanted to have fun

Steph vs. Kobe

no comparison… add defense

10% better eFG even more steals.

Sure Kobe's a better defender but Steph is so far beyond everyone in offensive efficiency you have to take that into account.

Even the defensive rebounds are the same.

All I'm saying is both are great players... pointless to diss Steph.

not dissing Steph but he’s not in the same stratosphere as Kobe

Look at his playoff statistics where it's a more fair comparison because Kobe's stats were dragged down by his post Achilles numbers.

Against playoff competition... Steph's numbers are higher in almost every category.

If you think Kobe is better, that is your right... but to say they aren't in the same stratosphere is empirically untrue.

Again Steph is 1 dimensional - let me know when Steph is known to lockdown the teams best wing or guard.

That was a fun game to go to. Torture though seeing Vando sittin in the 4th when we needed stops, but he does need work on his range.

Not having Westbrook out there triggers some actual defense by the Lakers. AD/Vandy/Reaves/Schroeder/Brown take a bow for playing solid, intelligent 2 way ball tonight.

Last night showed we have depth. We won without Bron and Dlo. This team has dog in them. I don't like saying it but we may need an experienced coach. I'm still willing to give Darvin a chance but his rope is short.

I agree that based on an eye test it looks like Vando is more impactful than Troy Brown but there must be analytics that say Try Brown on the floor is helping them. I don't think it's just Ham deciding who plays in a vacuum, but assistants that weigh in with data as well.
