Amazing win. I didn’t agree with the closing lineup before Vanderbilt came in but they did the job.

Steph vs. Kobe

no comparison… add defense

10% better eFG even more steals.

Sure Kobe's a better defender but Steph is so far beyond everyone in offensive efficiency you have to take that into account.

Even the defensive rebounds are the same.

All I'm saying is both are great players... pointless to diss Steph.

Vando should have played at least 3 or 6 more minutes. Rui didn't deserve 20 minutes.

I think most of it is GS isn’t this particularly lengthy, athletic defensive team. They tend to beat with their hot shooting and your inefficiency.

However there is something to GS struggles at staples/crypto. Even when the Lakers were tanking they would give GS problems. Talking Steph/Klay era here.

Somewhat Positive post by LakersSD???!

Twilight zone stuff 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Well I can’t control selective reading, but my posts are in the database if you want to see my positivity

I don’t sugarcoat and the past 2 seasons specifically is not up to Laker standards tbh.

LakerSD you know what he meant. You know when something good happens you still come running in and make some little sarcastic negative "joke", no selective reading necessary. Come on now

Maybe TDrock can chime in on this:

Lakers/Warriors rivalry a thing?
Even the fan base?

My wife and I were recently at 24 hour fitness in San Mateo dripped up all in Lakers gear.
To no surprise everyone there dripped up in warriors and niners gear.

Everyone was pretty cool though.

I even ran like 7-8 full court games. First couple games with bum squads but people kept on picking me up to run with their squads.

Felt the love in San Francisco even when I was rocking all my Lakers stuff. Can’t say it was the same story back in the Kobe championship days

Well folks will always pick guys who can play lol.

I mean the rivalry is still there I go back-and-forth all the time and like when I'm on the BART I might get somebody that make a little side comment and just and I'll make a comment and just back but it's never like a hard-core Aggro rivalry. It certainly doesn't feel like back in the day when we were at our height and they were a mess and they hated the Lakers. There are certainly those hard-core fans who still feel that way but I think with their own success combined with a lot more casual fans because of that success the rivalry has toned down a bit.

I get it heavy with my family who lives up there which is somewhat jaded because it feels like it's more heated through just the fact it's family BS LOL.

Not soo heavy with all my experiences with the general public but then again maybe not the best judgement as we visited all the touristy sites.
Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Fisherman Wharf, Palace of Fine Arts, Lombard St, Painted Ladies, Napa Valley.

Thought there was gonna be some trash talk as we headed over the Bay Bridge to Oakland where the Nike Clearance store was but yeah once again tourist site LOL

I loved Kobe and I love that Steph can make the
shots that he makes. In my mind, there is no need
to compare them but to each his own...

Wait, really?

What I remember is I post positive potion in the player threads. I also remember calling some good wins in GDTs. I do make little sarcastic jokes when we barely escape the Rockets or Spurs

Ps- I wasn’t going for any backhanded complimenting in my post btw. We seem to do well against GS who are the upper echelon of the league but then we continuously struggle with that clumsy Gobert and clunky wolves!

This 100% and I would if been okay with Rui in there to help AD on defense and the glass.

You're not going to out shoot GSW on most nights.
Beasley who was cold today should have been subbed out for Vando to finish the final 5 minutes of the game. Either way we survived.

BIG WIN
