Not all Darvin’s fault but still not helping his cause by inserting some stupid ass small ball lineups.

DLO, Dennis, and Lonnie have NO Business being on the court all at the same time!

The Blazers without Grant, Nurkic, and Winslow and yet they still look huge compared to our bum ass small ball lineups.

Playing drop coverage on Dame and Simmons is a good strategy?

Not doubling Dame when he is ultra hot not on the coach?

Read my last 3 post bro.

I’m roasting Darvin lol

But still not all his fault the guys did come out lethargic as Fffffffff especially after we got that brief 7-8 point lead. Took the foot off the gas immediately

Maybe some of that blame can be forwarded toward ham and his staff as well…

This game was much needed as they all half assed it

If the players didn't care who does that fall on? The couch right

I wish he would cut that hair. He starting to look like sideshow Bob.

I wish we can cut him

Cut Christie oh, come on now

I was talking about Dennis shroeder

Even cutting Dennis Schröder is laughable. He has been performing consistently well for us. He laid an egg tonight, but he has not been playing poorly overall.

He should be running the 2nd unit instead of starting next to DLO. We are wasting both player’s abilities.

Starting to side with Dennis of LG.

DS has an amazing game against the Warriors only to come back tonight as Casper the ghost.

I’m not at the extreme point to cut him but bring him off the bench darvin! These small ball backcourts are just garbage

The only time a team should be playing small bowl lineups has their staple is if they have all stars at those positions

We don’t put size on the court

Opposition is feasting on that BBQ Chicken every Damn time!

DLO
Austin
Lebron
Rui
AD

Bench

Dennis
Malik
Troy
Vando
MO

Austin ,Malik, and Troy switch on certain matchups

I’ve seen enough of Reaves starting, he hesitates way too often.

💀💀💀

Just hilariously sad bro.

Rob did a phenomenal job building this roster dumping all that dead weight. Hopefully he can continue swinging that axe on the coaching staff minus Phil Handy

I'd think more of the coach hating comments if people weren't saying the same things about Vogel when Vogel got us a ring. Then we fired him when he couldn't win with a worse team than this one.

Anyhow, I'm bashing my head into the wall until I forget this one, good luck and good night.

For the record, I have never hated on Vogel until he started to play the small lineups with lebron at the 5, but he wasn’t given the players he needed

Perfection!

Lethal defense and yes I said lethal defense with DLO in there playing big point guard 💪🏀💪🏀💪

Yea, it seemed like Schro's tenacity and continuity as starting PG was the move but it is not...he did have 26 and 24 in the last two games and a couple of 30+ games but may better suited for the second unit instead of relying on Reaves playing out of position at PG with the second unit.

The extra height of Dlo and playmaking at PG plus Beasley's shooting at SG exceeds Schro's point of attack defense and put Reaves in a position to succed at backup SG instead of forcing him to play back up PG.

Haven't seen Mo yet but hopefully he raises his play to starting C so that the twin rim protection defense compensates for limited defense in the back court with Dlo and Beasley starting.

Dlo/Beas/LBJ/AD/Mo hopefully long term. With LBJ out have to roll with Vandi at SF to add defense...Dlo/Beas/Vandi/Rui/AD

Darvin is an idiot.
Down almost 20 after one quarter.
Does he ever watch film about the teams he is playing?
Swear he’s a moron…

Asterisk coaching woes Frank had to deal with. That Rondo and Westbrook backcourt was terrible.

Any defensive minded Coach would struggle with Westbrook

What do you expect him to do when a team is that hot from 3?

Yessir

When Bron comes back

The bench should be:

Dennis
Austin
Troy
Vando
MO

Yea...this...starting and reserves, hopefully not at the same time. Wonder if Vandi better at SF or Rui? Vandi is taller and plays some small ball C but appears more agile than Rui. Either way AD/RuiVandi/Beas/Dlo till LBJ returns. Then with a full line up the above starters and reserves make the most sense.

Long term I hope Mo develops into the starting C so the Lakers enter the playoffs with a starting unit of; Mo/AD/LBJ/Beas/Dlo. From what I'm seeing from Rui/Vandi it may be stronger if they are able to contribute with the second unit with Reaves/Walker/Schro so that Gabe/TBjr/Max/Reed contribute as deep reserves.

Disappointing. The hole just keeps getting deeper.

Does it really matter how or who to blame anymore. Simply another blowout loss.

Austin Reeves -25. Ham subbed Reeves in for Dennis in the first and Lillard walked Reeves like a dog on the court. He obliterated him and the team went from a competitive game that AD, Dennis, and Dlo left to shambles because Lillard hunted and destroyed Reeves.

It has been two games so far where Reeves has essentially taken the role Russ had of sixth man and backup point guard and he’s struggled his ass off defensively. Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson in the start of the fourth of the warriors game pointed out how Reeves lost Poole three times leading to 9 straight easy points and it steam rolled into a scoring binge that had to be put out.

Reeves is not Pat Bev at all like when he shutdown Dame, not Caruso, not KCP, and not even Dennis on that end as a defender versus point guards. He’s gotten schooled. Ham just yanked him quick in the warrior game in the fourth like even the commentators were calling for. Ham should have yanked him two minutes into the second of the blazer game because he basically gave the blazers the game defensively. And Ham tried to be cute hiding him but he still got picked on by Sharp, Little, and others as they all scored over him. Ham has to pull him when he’s getting cooked like that.

Good grief maybe have one PG start the game and the other PG lead the bench. Is it really that difficult to figure out?

I don’t care what anyone says, Beverly was responsible for the Blazers getting up for the game when he was taunting the Blazers when we won against them in the improbable comeback. the Blazers have always wanted to win when we play them no need to add extra motivation, it doesn’t help that our coach makes it much more difficult

A lot of people want to point fingers at ham or Reeves during this game you’re just not getting it

When a team goes that height from three there is nothing that you can do if they keep it up the whole game which they did you just have to say good game and move onto the next

It’s an anomaly a throw out they won’t shoot this hot the next game that they play and they won’t shoot this hot. The next time that they play the Lakers you take this film and you chuck it and you move onto the next game it’s an outlier.

A team can often get hot from three but very seldom do they sell staying at a whole game like they did tonight
