How far under .500 will we be after the next 24 games (Pelicans)?

lol people here are counting the Lakers out even though top teams can't blow them out. That is without 3 of their key players. After this 24 game, they will be at least in the 7th or 8th spot.

Almost all our games are close down the stretch. The Lakers are just horrible in the last 2 minutes. No plays, no confidence in eachother, no trust, no coordination. If we had a team who was better coached, or more willing to be coached, we would have many more wins.

If not for some late game collapses, the lakers record against the top 4 teams in each conference would be insane.

We couldn't beat the Kings at home despite Lebron going for 32, 8, 9. Look at who we play our next 24 games...

they beat the grizz at home even though lebron had a bad day. So? Just accept that it is hard to predict if this team will win or not. But they basically are capable of beating any team. There is no "this team is bettet or weaker" against this. One thing for sure, they will always try to win it until the final second of the game.

This is not the same Lakers that started the season. They are 18-14 the last 32 games and big part of it is they win even without AD.
If not for the refs mistake on Mavs and Sixers they could have been inside the top 10 already (22-22) and enjoying a 3 game winning streak.

I think they have 50% chance on Winnables and 75% on W.

14-11

but I think they will be better assuming Bron will continue how he is playing currently and AD returns. Don't worry about B2B, Bron will play the 2nd game of B2B specially against weak teams.

Sadly I gave up caring, Lakers are not gonna make it to the playoff this year AND don't have a 1st round pick.

Best they could do at this point, is to make a side deal with NO, and get something for tanking - so they get a higher draft pick... lol

people here still clinging to the lakers bad start of the season. They are 20-15 since that bad start with most of those games were without AD. Just chill and be happy that they are still winning even woth injury bug.

Should Lebron sit out the Clippers game and just be fresh vs the spurs on 2nd day of B2B and secure the W?

If he really needs a rest day, I’d do the opposite. The spurs are a really easy win no matter who plays.

Before the thread title was edited, it stated the Lakers would go 1-24 in the next 25. The Lakers are already 2-1 in this stretch, including an L impacted by 4 missed calls in the L2M that most likely would have given them the win or an opportunity to win in overtime if those calls were given correctly.

I think he will play in the Clipper game and if we win, his reward to himself is a rest day. If we lose, he will play against the Spurs.

I don’t think the spurs game is a given without Lebron. he should play both games, but less minutes if either game is not close

It’s not a given, but LeBron needs to rest where he can. Splitting the b2b 1-1 is probably his goal, and when we have a weaker opponent on the second night it creates that win to rest motive. If we had beat the 76ers I think he would’ve rested against the Rockets, but we lost, so he played to make sure we got a 1-1 split on the b2b. Of course I would love for him to play every game and never get injured, but he’s 38.

Lakers are just four games back of the Pels.
A healthy Laker team and the Pels may want to wait on that pick swap.

^ Marked away games and B2Bs.

Bolded the 12 games that I believe are definitely winnable, and the Lakers will likely be favored in a few of them. (FYI - Nets is contingent on KD still being out.)

If the Lakers can go 9-3 in the bolded and 5-8 in the other 13, then that 14-11 stretch would put the Lakers at 34-35 and likely in position to make the play-in tournament with 13 games left in the season.

Lol not bad...
