I just realized these 4 are in a dead heat for the top 3 lotto odds. I'd be shocked if we didn't deal with one of these teams. With that said which team packages do you like best?
Houston:Eric Gordon + filler
SAS: Poeltl, Richardson, McDermott
CHAR: Rozier, Hayward, Oubre, Plumlee (some combo)
Detroit: Bojan, Burks, Bey (some combo) |

None, if it means trading Westbrook. Also, none of them are predicated towards the future of the franchise. Nor do I see any that makes the team significantly better. Seems more like desperate trades, that'll end up blowing up in the Lakers face, and taking away from the Lakers future. |

This topic has been talked about to death in the general free agency / trade forum so I'm a little puzzled why you felt it needed its own thread. |

So the team makes a trade to help a rival with their lottery chances? Does Pelinka owe some favors? Because none of those trades move the team toward contention. Maybe just build for the future? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

All of these reek desperation. None of these players move the needle for us. But special mention to these two:
Eric Gordon - why? I'd rather stick with Dennis and Lonnie
Bey - Not happening, they are building around him, Cade and Jaden _________________ “God knew they couldn’t be on this Earth without each other. He had to bring them home to have them together.” – Vanessa Bryant |
