Offense is not the issue. Defense... Too much unbalance line-ups out there.
Scored 250 points last 2 games and lost.
The real scary thing is the team is built this summer on defense first moves and guys.
Pat Bev
Dennis
Jones (shot blocking)
Brown Jr.

We added a lot of guys with younger legs known for their defensive effort instead of older slower players like Melo, DAJ, Baze, Bradley etc.
Offense i dont fault coaching. We’re a limited group. Look at that last play, Dennis can’t make a 3. It is what it is regarding our limitations on offense.
The defense? This is effort and coaching. The staff is playing super small lineups and also the Laker players aren’t playing defense the way they began the season. The commitment just isn’t there.
You just can’t turn over an entire team of minimums every year and expect to be competitive. Every now and then a minimum hits, but they’re minimums for a reason: they aren’t very good.
Just feels like this has run its course. A trade isn’t going to fix this. They need a whole team of guys. Not 1 or 2. A whole team. They need more than 2 starting caliber players. They need a wing. They need a big. They need a quality 6th man. They need a bench. And even for that to work it still requires our two top guys stay healthy and they just can’t.
I can’t muster up the anger to direct at Darvin Ham for playing small guard lineups when he has a team primarily comprised of small guards. Pretty sure if he had some wings he’d be playing them. _________________ 14-5-3-12

Straight facts. Some people on this board are so delusional

The LeGM minimums crap works with 28 year old Lebron. It doesn’t work with 38 or 39 year old Lebron.

Pat Bev got into the lane, lol
WTF is PatBev doing there... Get out of the way! Basketball 101 you don't run down the middle on a 2 on 1 break.
If it weren’t for his hustle and fake tough guy attitude, he would not have even had a career in the NBA. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

It works if you have 3 legit stars. Or 2 stars and elite depth. We traded elite depth for a third star that gives you the value of a decent off the bench role player.
If you look at his Miami teams, Bosh or Wade never played the level WB has this season or last. The issue is AD can’t stay healthy, and then with the WB trade you killed all your depth in the hopes that WB would be the star that carrys the team. Russ can’t do that. He’s borderline a quality bench player based on advanced metrics.
Love it… hope the buss brothers throw out Jeanie and the clown pelinka
This is what I'm hoping as well. Let Jeanie do the business side of things but leave basketball decision making to the little bros. She is a complete moron when it comes to basketball.

Unless there's a dramatic turnaround, when it's all said and done, LeBron deserves a lot of blame for apparently selling Rob Pelinka on trading two of our most important role players for Russ. Instead, we could've re-signed Dennis at a reasonable rate, or maybe bring in DeRozan if it wouldn't have hard-capped us.
I'd be down to trade AD this summer if there is no real turnaround, but you'd also have to trade LeBron at the same time, and you know they won't do that. Trading AD without trading LeBron would be a slap in the face to LeBron, and you never know, it could anger Klutch and turn it against the Lakers moving forward.

All the buss family members seem like nice people, it doesn’t matter who runs the team, we’d be running with the same constraints. I hope they sell, maybe Jeanie can enjoy her life, she got a ring already this year
