The Bulls do this in a millisecond. This would destroy the Lakers even further. Give up both picks in exchange for a $200M Lavine contract and for a player that may never step on the court again. Lol. _________________ Kobe.

Why would they trade for Lonzo Ball when he's still injured and they don't even know why he's in pain? That prediction by the insider is BS. Pelinka wouldn't be that dumb....right? I don't think we make any trades for big names like Lavine before the deadline. |

I swear Bobby makes the dumbest trade proposals. He's good w/ the cap, but he's pretty moronic in terms of valuing players and seeing long term value of picks.
I wonder who was the Assistant General Manager on the Nets when they made the moronic KG/Pierce trade with the Celtics. You guessed it. Bobby Bobby Bobby. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!!

I wouldn’t trade Lavine for Russ straight up. Lavine is Gordon Hayward signed to a bigger/longer contract. |

He might actually hate the Lakers. First for gifting the Celtics those picks and second by advocating these types of deals. _________________ Luxury Tax/FA Spreadsheet (Save to your Google Drive to edit) |

Worst trade ever, especially if the Lakers include any picks.
LaVine is owed 5 years at $215 million!!!!
Injury prone Lonzo is owed 3 years at $60 million and may never play the same again...
This kind of deal would set the Lakers back years..... |

Best possible acquisitions with regard to impact + cost IMO
1. Turner (i know, let it go )
2. GTJ (especially if we send back two guards)
3. Josh Richardson
4. Hield
5. Bojan
6. Mo Bamba (cheaper than Poeltl, better fit/upside)
7. Poeltl
8. Bojan
Would rather do nothing than trade for:
1. Lavine
2. Rozier/Hayward
3. FVV |

It’s too late to trade for DROZ IMO. You can plug and play spot up shooters around Lebron, but someone like Derozan would take too much time to develop chemistry with and we’ve seen how quickly Lebron can lose patience. It wouldn’t work. You trade for him so he can be in training camp, not with 30 games left. |

Hield:
eFG .589%
17 PPG
4.9 rpg
32.1 mpg
Reaves:
eFG .577%
10.8 PPG
3.1
28 mpg
Then we also have Christie shooting .426 from 3 with GREAT defense @ 19 years old, 6"6 frame.
We also have Walker 14.2 ppg, eFG 54.3
I do not think SG is a position of immidiate need specially if it involves our picks. Hield is great on offense but his defense lacks a bit which makes him comparable to Reaves in my eyes when it comes to winning impact.
Turner is nice but at what cost? Bryant is shooting .447 from three compared to Turner's 39%.
What about Dangelo Russell? I read he is available
eFG .561%
18 ppg
6 apg
39% from 3 on 7 attempts
The position dragging our eFG is the PG position.
All under 48% eFG and under %35 from 3. Brick at 28%.

Lets say we do get Lonzo/Lavine could we ship Lonzo to Hornets to pair him up with his brother? We get back Rozier?
LA Rozier/Lavine
Bulls 2 first Russ
CHA Lonzo/2nd Rounder |

It sure if this has already been posted, but Toronto seems to be coming in hot into the final week before the deadline and the Suns are also looking to do something before tradeSZN is a rap….
Quote: | Esfandiar Baraheni: Haynes also mentions that he thinks Anunoby ends up getting moved at the deadline. Mentions that he reportedly wants a change of scenery and he thinks something gets done.
|
Quote: | Teams are coming to them, they’re listening to offers, and with the exception of reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes – who remains off limits in trade discussions – everything is on the table, according to sources. There’s no shortage of options to mull over in the next seven days.
Toronto was close to acquiring Deandre Ayton from Phoenix in a sign and trade last summer, according to a source. Perhaps there’s a deal to be made with the Suns, who are said to be one of Anunoby’s many suitors. Pacers centre Myles Turner – who just signed an extension but is still eligible to be traded – would also check off a few boxes as a shot-blocking, floor-spacing big man. – via Josh Lewenberg @ TSN

If we do get involved and aren’t looking to move our FRPs, I can see the lesser names heading our way like Crowder and TrentJr.
And if a name is at play, it could be CP3, especially if VanVleet is Phx bound.
FYI: Phx does have their own FRPs they can deal and put protections on, as well as the entire tpMLE at their disposal (during buyoutSZN). If Phx’s net return has them shaving ~17m they dip below the tax line, while Toronto currently isn’t a tax payer and has ~5m in wiggle before hitting the tax line. _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

Scout, do you hate defense? I'm not saying efg isn't important. And I agree we need to give Russ less minutes. But making an argument based on efg seems limited.
BTW, Caruso and Rondo had efgs of 48% during the championship season. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

I just dont know who is trading for Lonzo when he knowingly cannot play. Unless he is a salary dump situation (I dont think he's on the last year of his contract?), I dunno who is interested in him.
Now, a healthy Lonzo would be amazing for this team but obviously we couldn't get him if he was healthy |

It's about balance, I said I rather keep Reaves+Christie+Walker at the cost they come at than Hield who is much better than them on offense but not on defense.
Turner I like his defense ALOT. But do we really need to pay 30 MILLION to a center when we have AD to play Center and defend the rim? Its proven AD can orchestrate a top defense so why mismamage our assets?
What we need is a guy who can handle the ball, make plays and be efficient. That is the only thing we are lacking.
Yeah Caruso and Rondo were bad offensively thats why we were 11th on offense that season. But there defense out weights some of those negatives and in Rondo's case his play making which we had none outside of LeBron. Caruso played 17 minutes and the next year his eFG skyrocket and so did his minutes.

https://itsgame7.com/is-a-big-3-team-lakers-trade-brewing/
In that proposed trade Los Angeles would get Tobias Harris, Terry Rozier and Matisse Thybulle; Charlotte would get Westbrook, Jaden Springer, both of L.A.’s remaining first round picks in this decade and two second-rounders; and Philly would get Kelly Oubre Jr., Cody Martin and Beverley.
In the process the Sixers would free up cap space. The Lakers, meanwhile, would dump Westbrook, address their three-point shooting holes and their massive hole at point guard. The Hornets, in the meantime, would receive much-needed draft capital.
What do you guys think? |

Rozier's eFG is worst than Westbrook major scrub and ball hog. |
