I've had one of the craziest, most indirect career paths ever. There have been so many twists, turns and u-turns on that "path" that it would be a total lie to say there was any initial choice in direction or endgame. As stressful scary and suspenseful as that "path" has been at times, I wouldn't change a damn turn or diversion on it. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Maybe you could have saved us from the last 10 years of the video game industry. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

If I could've, I would've started out as a writer right after college instead of waiting several years because I wasn't sure if I was good enough to do it for a living. |

started in interactive design before it was a thing. deviated but everything turned out well. If I could start over I would probably be a hedge fund manager. |

I've walked the video game path and it's not super fun and lots of extra shady people. If I had known about how messed up it was, I would not have entered it for a few years (and went directly into engineering firms).
My only thing I wonder is if I should have moved back down to LA from the Bay Area after so many years in tech up there. Maybe my career could have been different. |

I would have taken up that offer to join a certain pre-ipo startup while I was in college. |

As a Fine Arts major who was lucky enough to get a graphic designer position at an ad agency even though I didn't go to a commercial design college like Art Center or RISD. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

As a degree? Yes
I would've focused more on a personal life though getting married possibly starting a family and be a SAHM. |
