We're a glamour franchise. But it isn't a glamour job right now. This is shown by the fact that it is newsworthy that Howard passed on an interview, but also that no one is saying that it's surprising.

Their is no reason to request a interview if your mind and heart is set somewhere and yeah I agree we aren’t a glamour franchise right now but hopefully in the near future that will change.

Darvin Ham could be like the next Tyrone Lue type of hire aka future good head coach.

Cranjis is really high on Ham too.

Why is Cranjis really high on someone he has not seen head coach, don't know his coaching philosophy, offensive or defensive strategy, don't know how he would be as a leader, etc... He is a question mark. So why would he be really high on someone he does not have an true idea of how he would be as a head coach? Also, why would you or should we care if Cranjis is really high on someone? Ham could happen to be really good, but being high on him right now, seems a bit of a stretch and wishful thinking than rooted with facts of what he would bring to the table.

I would love to know the answer to question 1. Wonder what he's basing it on.

Ham crafted the new offensive scheme for the Bucks last season. Before that, Giannis couldn’t get past the second round (and neither could Budenholzer) thanks to the “wall” defense every team deployed.

This team has been dying for some offensive ingenuity and that’s even if we’re fortunate enough to get rid Westbrook.

Interesting, so there is hope even if RW stays.

We are probably interviewing about 10-15 coaches right now not everyone is gonna have the opportunity to get it, it’s just a process that we are endorsing until someone good enough gets the job.

We're at the final 3 now. It's gonna be one of Ham, Kenny, Terry.

Marc reports that a source told him this weekend "that the list of coaches under consideration by the Lakers is 'still wider' than the reported trio of Ham, Stotts and Atkinson."

You mean there's still a chance for Doc Rivers? 😂

Yeah lol it was pretty clear. People gloss over the words “Among the finalists.”

Notice how they don’t want to tell us Rambis, Mark Jackson and Doc.

I bet they think they are being smart in “negotiating” leverage with Philly/Doc.

Good luck finding a coach who can get Westbrook to admit it's his fault

That would be insane if true.
Especially the Rambis part. Hahaha.

I want Rambis to coach the team so bad. It’s the only way to get rid of him.

Same. I’m done. I’m at full “burn it all down” grindset. Lakers are unserious

Good luck finding a coach who can get Westbrook to admit it's his fault

Or Legramps for that matter

I disagree.
I think Lebron is very self aware.

Hiring Doc will be the typical move by Buss family. A familiar name and a has been. The last time Lakers hired a non-retreat HC who actually did well was mike dunleavy.

I will still be a fan, I have through thick and thin. The only gap I had was during COVID, I got away from all sports until the NFL returned. I’ve been a Bears fan longer than a Laker fan. They won in 1985 but have pretty much been a hot mess ever since, but I still hold out hope. Same with the Lakers.

The Bears and Laker story are similar, successes with the patriarch at the helm but ugly once the kids get a hold of them after losing that leader. The Bears even put it together one season for a title, just as the Lakers have.

I won't stop watching because I will have abandoned my fandom or stopped loving the Lakers. I'll stop because I already know the outcome and I'll deem it a complete waste of time.
