Max Christie: "I really wanted to be out there, for sure. It sucks seeing us eliminated because I felt I could've helped the team."
Max should have been our "Rui" this season, coming off the bench and being the difference maker. But Ham was obsessed with Reddish.
Prince proved his worth. Reddish, not so much. Christie should have gotten Gabe's minutes when it was clear Gabe wasn't ready. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I saw Ham laughing it up on the sidelines, during a break in action...
Your team is down 3-1, playing for their playoff life in hostile territory, and you have time to joke around? As the Lakers head coach? Really?
I'm not going to fry the FO for hiring Ham. In the beginning, I thought he was a real promising prospect, as a HC. He has emphatically proven me wrong. His work is indefensible, and he needs to go. ASAP. Yesterday. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!

This. I'm not going to say that Max would have been our "savior". But, why would you freeze out a 6'5"/6'6" young athletic guard, who plays good defense, can shoot, AND rebound. ESPECIALLY with all the injuries you had with Gabe, Vando, and Reddish...?
Even if you felt that Reddish was the superior player (which I don't, but I'm not the coach), once you know that Reddish is down for extended time, Max should have been given consistent burn, with the regular rotation. Let him make his mistakes early, coach him through it, so he can hopefully be ready later in the season, into the postseason.
But, nope. Max's minutes were all over the place. Sometimes he got good burn. Other times, complete DNP. Sometimes he played with the rotation players. Other times, he only got in to play with the G-League squad, a the end of games. You can't build rhythm like that. And, you sure as hell can't improve as a player, when you're glued to the pine. Which is another reason that Ham should be gone, imo...among many others. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t get subbing in Prince for Dlo for a defensive stop knowing you have NO timeouts left and then not having Prince on Murray or MPJ. He literally had him on KCP. So why make the sub? Also you take away any chance of the team advancing it and Dlo pulling up from the logo with his release.
Was there a reason AD was not subbed out when he was hurt? I was listening to the game and John Ireland was emphatically saying you must sub him out. Even if AD said he could play through it as a head coach you have to do what is best for the team.

I was wondering the same thing. KCP was hobbled and hadn't shot the ball well from the perimeter all night. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
Is he gone?
Can he gone?
Will he gone?
When he gone?
After Quinn Snyder turning down even interviewing for the job because of how dirty Pelinka did Vogel, I assume they will show more tact this time around.

I saw this too. Made me sick. Sign of a true loser seeing that clown laughing in those moments.
Glad Christie said what he said. He most def could have helped if Ham actually gave him playtime in the regular season heading into post season.
This (bleep) gave it to Spencer Dimwiddie and i still haven't forgotten how people said he'd be good.
An absolute (bleep) scrub Dimwiddie was aside from like one game in the regular season.
Get this bald headed (bleep) off this team. Thibs would have (bleep) played the crap out of Christie because he'd see the worth of his defense early on.
He literally always looks lost.. The fact your players have to yell at you to challenge a play or call a timeout says it all. The fact Reggie Miller's hating @ss is calling you out and even he hates the lakers... says it all
Mr. Ham has lost the team. That is obvious. He also hasn't been able to solve the Denver Nuggets. Once you lose a team, there's no coming back. So, I'm not sure what Jeannie is waiting on.
Mr. Ham must be fired this summer, if not sooner. There is no turning back on this.
I wish we could rewind to 1999, then we could hire Phil again
Id rather have Phil NOW than Darvin Spam. Who cares if Phil isnt even completely caught up on current NBA. Dude is smart enough to figure it out and it was never even his X's and O's that made him brilliant although he was no slouch in that regard either.
