My daughter and sons, who are 19, 17 and 15, wanted to watch Coachella live on Tv while we entertained my in-laws celebrating an Easter dinner. Most performances were lame at best.
Then Danny Elfman went on stage.
His first concert in 27 years!!
Wow!!
My kids were mind blown hard! My wife and I smiling.
Genius is not an easy word to throw around…
But Danny is….
Watch it, you will see what I mean. |

Yeah, he's a unique and amazing talent. Loved Boingo shows back in the day. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Danny Elman went from a goofy looking ginger in his younger years to a tatted up, buff, old man. He's an amazing talent. I put him second only to John Williams. |

Crazy how big it's gotten. I went in 2003 and it's nothing like the spectacle it is today.
*edit* Went in 2004 not 2003. Had to see the Cure. _________________ KOBE

Yeah, it's weird, it started off 100% an alt/indie/rock scene. It was really, really about the music. The acts now are all pop acts. Feels like the overwhelming majority go for IG photo ops and to play dress up these days. _________________ KOBE |

Yeah. It's become a social media event rather than an actual music festival. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Elfman is awesome, and, yes, Oingo Boingo was great. When I was involved in podcasting, I used some of "Dead Man's Party" as the outro on one of my shows. Their sound was unique. |
