I should take a mental health day and not watch this game, but I'm too dumb for that

Hate to say this but this will be a blowout and certainly a lost. There are two places LeBron rarely ever wins at, Denver and Utah. Denver because of the high altitude and Utah always found ways to win. If there was ever a circled L this would be it. Imagine Westbrook going to the rim with Gobert down there

teams with a traditional center against a small ball lineup is usually having matchup issues on defense when play man, but when Lebron holds the ball on top of the key against that center, they are basically giving a free shot to Lebron instead of a breakdown on defense and give up an open shot to a shooter (see how Terrance Man in the playoffs)

LeBron will need his three point shot to be “on” tonight for us to ever have a chance. Gobert is the only big that forces Bron to play on the perimeter and avoid driving to the paint.

Thinking the same… well, still watching it but not writing up a game report on it. We’ll see. Popping open a bottle of wine now. Things could change.

Per Goon

Carmelo Anthony will miss his third straight game with back soreness. Frank Vogel says he’s improving.

Not to sound too negative, but I just cannot see how we win this game. This is such a terrible matchup for us.

Why did I think we were still on the road. So, there’s a chance

So the Nuggets trashed us by almost 40 points, and the Jazz manhandled the Nuggets by 20+ points yesterday...

Yep I like our chances

This game would have been a scheduled lose even with AD playing... Gobert is having a monster season and the Jazz are loaded with depth... I think they a good chance to come out of the West especially if they get someone good for Ingles or Bojan

We'll get a good chance to see how Utah stacks up against the contenders next week, they have a back to back against Golden State followed by Phoenix

LeBron will keep this game close, but at the end of the day it's still an L.

I remember talking about this last season. Doesn’t Lebron have a weirdly awful record on MLK day?

Ariza needs to starting giving us valuable minutes he’s been invisible in a lot of minutes he has played some good defense here and there but no offensive game what so ever

Position less basketball has Vogel losing his mind. Forget the small ball only offense line up... Let's put a player who has shown to be useless as a starter in Ariza. We have no shooting. Who is the shooting guard? AB or Westbrook? This line up, I could be wrong, but it looks terrible and I don't expect a good result. I could be wrong and hope I am, but this line up gets me irritated looking at it. It seems if your name is not Westbrook or Lebron and you are good, you get regulated to the bench. This is backwards thinking to me. It's like he is trying to tank, with no picks, while Lebron is saying "we will do better" on Twitter. Let's hope this doesn't end in a 20-30 point loss.

Who is ready to be down 15 points in the first 5 minutes with that lineup

Not even Steph shooting could save the other 4 on the court.
