It's crazy to me that there is still this notion going around that Lebron isn't an all time great scorer. Always pointing out how his greatest attribute is his playmaking. Whilst that may be true it's what makes his offensive game so diverse. You cant double him. Cant sag of off him. Cant let him dominate down low.

Lebron has every facet covered.

Saw people putting Curry above him as a scorer.

Lebron has always been the top 1% at scoring.

Only guys i'd take over him are KD and MJ when it comes to scoring the ball.

KAJ as well if im being honest. His consistency is ridiculous.

Dude is going to be the all time NBA leading scorer and it’s going to standing for a long long while, so I don’t think anyone would ever doubt him as a scorer. Curry is not even a better scorer than harden. Best shooter of all time? Absolutely, but we are talking about scorers here.

Lillard plays like he no longer wants to be in Portland.

Solid victory, although it certainly helps that the Blazers are a flaming mess of an organization. They look like they are tanking. I'm guessing Lillard will want out soon. They are unfixable, even when CJ and Nurkic return. Billups has a lot of work to do, and they were way more motivated to compete with Terry Stotts.

I'd be shocked if Lillard doesn't request a trade in the offseason. Don't think it happens before June, but he really needs to get out of there

Nice one. Will take it to end a very odd year. Onto 22.

They can play like this against anyone, and should.
I saw effort tonight…
I saw good lineups…
I saw defense…
I saw BALL MOVEMENT!!!

They can do this game after game if they try…

Portland made the Lakers defense look elite. That was some of the worst defense this side of the All Star game. Monk & Johnson should start. Monk is young enough to play big minutes. He can make defensive mistakes at time but is a legit offensive player from anywhere. I never knew he had the guard skills he has. Johnson is the player the Lakers should have signed in the offseason. He was always a good defender, suspect shooter. With Russ/LBJ however, he will get better looks than he actually got with Detroit. He is still shooting better than THT right now. Until THT regains some confidence, he is better playing limited minutes. He can play multiple roles on the team but clearly has lost all confidence in his shot. Melo is good every other game, which tells me that is simply age/recovery.

WB
MONK
STANLEY
BRON
AD

Then you got NUNN/REAVES/MELO/ARIZA bench. Shorter 9 man rotation in 2nd half of season instead of the usual 10.

This is the lineup when AD and NUNN comes back healthy come mid/end of January. Everyone fitting into their roles now. Need that coveted 6th seed so Lakers can beat Jazz first round and face Suns 2nd round.

This type of win can hopefully ignite something within the team for them to play more aggressive. Just compete, I can handle losses if you compete. Show up and play, that's it.
