Saw an ESPN website headline that Luka is going to sit out the next two games. I somehow knew it without looking but had to look at the Mavs schedule. First game back is Wed. with the Lakers at Dallas.

Indeed.
It sure is nice to be a 7' jump shooter. Doesn't matter if he slows down, his height will always give him open looks. No need to create what's already there.
