I know I was watching the game when he got injured and I was so worried it was something serious. Fortunately it seems it isn't anything super bad. |

Here's a funny stat. From the start of the season until Ja went down on the 26th, Memphis was dead last in defensive rating.
Since he went down, they're 1st in defense. That's mostly about the sample, but what an indictment of a player's defense. |

Same thing happened with the Lakers last season when LBJ and AD went down.
Imo it’s more about the team playing harder on defense as a necessity to survive without star players.
