Going to be interesting to see which Laker team shows up.
The one that plays with no energy and gets run off the court or the one that shows a spark of intensity and urgency.
I don’t expect the players to have the same attitude towards a “ big game” or show any animosity as a fan towards the Clips or any rivalry game. Few share it or compete with that intensity. But a little emotion and effort would be great.

Will be interesting to see if we can bring some aggressive defensive coverage right away with Dwight/AD/Bron starting. Also wonder if Frank goes with Bradley (if he plays) or gives Ellington another look at the 2.
If we do start, when we rotate into our bench, how will our defensive coverages and D be on the 2nd unit? Can DAJ bring some elements of energy to our bench?
Dwight/AD/Bron/Ellington/Westbrook may start. Bring in an energy guy like Reaves, and Monk as your first 2 changes. DAJ comes in for Dwight for a short stint. Or you could go with Melo, but I would want to establish that defense inside. |

| Starting Dwight will be huge. His energy on D and Offensive rebounding will be big for us from the jump. Just have to watch his silly fouls and we will be straight. |

I would start Monk. I like how Monk pressures the defense in a variety of ways however he needs to improve defensively.
WE is one dimensional but effective in short spurts. That being said, Vogel will prolly start Dub-E.

I call this a HEART CHECK game. The Sailboat Crew are either 1st or 2nd on the most hated list, Clippers or Celtics, your choice. If there's no real intensity in this game we're in deep doo-doo. Everyone is probable except Ariza. No slow starts, come out smoking, and keep the doobie lit.

That's entertainment. Ratings will be through the roof. I wanted to watch that game. Would have if the Lakers weren't playing at the same time. If I had to guess, I'd guess if you're not a Lakers fan you'll be watching the Suns - Warriors game.

Problem is the players don’t carry those same feelings of animosity or rivalry that fans do.
Players are more likely to hug and make plans for dinner after a loss that puts fans into a two day funk. |

| sure but bradley can atleast hit a respectable % and is still better defender than tucker right now. You either stick with bradley or you go with monk/ellington to spread floor. Vogel does one thing right then makes a mistake with THT. |
