Usually teams are made aware of a positive test well in advance of the actual suspension announcement, because the appeals process has to sort itself out. If so, it would be interesting that the Padres would make that deal, because it would suggest that they thought they had a strong-enough team to win the World Series this year, and although I think they probably have a puncher's chance, I think that would be a miscalculation on their part. |
It’d be interesting why they sent him to rehab in the first place if they knew. |
I suppose in case he won the appeal. Gotta get him ready for the season, in that case. Also, to keep up the appearance that nothing was wrong. |

But screw MLB after they took our ace Bauer away for almost 2 full seasons despite no conviction to any crimes in a court of law. |
yup eff Manfred and his crew .. Bauer vs Max wouldve been sweet in an NLCS _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. Has any superstar maintained their elite play after being caught/suspended for PEDs?
Braun, Manny Ramirez, Cano, ARod come to mind
I’m not talking about the Mitchell report. Im talking after PEDs became banned.

Clostebol is a super old steroid too. Really foolish not to use whatever new designer drug is out there. In case anyone is wondering, this isn't a recovery thing. Clostebol is real close to Tren. It's a STEROID steroid.
The guy already got the bag so it wasn't like he was using it currently to get a big contract. This all tells me he's probably been on it his entire career. _________________ KOBE |

Surprised you didn't know Grandal got pinched. You and ChickenStu are walking baseball encyclopedias. _________________ KOBE |

You are very much correct, agree on all counts. A doctor's opinion:

Bases loaded no outs with the heart of the line up and couldn't even get 1 run. |

The Achilles heel strikes again. With our two best average hitters up, also. LOL. |

No baserunners allowed by Gonsolin through 5. He's at just 44 pitches. |

Gonsolin dealing. Perfect after 5 with only 45 pitches. |

The royals commentators are such homers. Earlier they were saying Trayce hasn't hit in to a dp so he is due. Now they are saying hopefully the 25 minute inning affects Gonsolin. You would never hear our commentators say stuff like that. |

He struggled last inning with his splitter and gives up a hit on it. Oh well. I'd get him out if another runner reaches. Keep him as fresh as you can for the stretch run. If he can get through this inning 1-2-3 from here, fine. |

Three hard-hit balls this inning. He's tiring. Get him out. |

I'm sure if Massey reaches then he is done. |
