People, People, Load management. My thinking is they don't believe Bron is needed to beat OKC. Let him rest dem ol bones.  
OKC isn't much of a threat even though we lost the last time we played them. Remember the Lakers had a 26 point lead and took their foot off the pedal.
If I were a betting man I'd bet the condo the Lakers will remember that and keep the pedal to the metal. I expect a blowout.

| Yeah, even minor issues that could potentially lead to something worse should be obvious rest games/stretches for Bron which imo this is. This is one of the main reasons Westbrook was brought in so we could survive all this on nights/stretches we're missing Bron which was pretty much a for sure thing now that we're back to a full 82 game season. |

Frank Vogel tells birthday boy @LakersReporter that Rondo will play tonight. Interestingly, he calls Rondo and Russ "not an ideal lineup" but says they sometimes play together because of how Westbrook prefers to only take short rests, rather than playing for 8 mins/sitting 8 mins

Just a feeling but I think we are gonna go after Kelly Olynyk this season, I know salaries will be hard to match but Rob is a cap guru so he might pull something off. |
