Time to go for number 18! If you're like me, you are MORE THAN ready for some Bball!

Injury Updates (fresh out of Rob Pelinka's mouth during Media Day):

Troy Brown jr - back - will mostly do non-contact drills for the next week or so

Lonnie Walker - ankle (non contact practice tomorrow)

Kendrick Nunn cleared for contact and non-contact drills

Schro - Not able to participate yet due to Visa issues

LONNIE AND TONY

Per Trudell

Lonnie Walker IV didn’t sound concerned with his ankle injury, saying that he’s “Fine,” that he’s already running and cutting and jumping.

Troy Brown Jr. on his back, which we learned will limit him some to start camp: “It’s getting better. Definitely making a lot of progress. Hopefully getting back soon.”

KNUNN

Per McTen

Kendrick Nunn said his injuries last season came from overuse so it was challenging to ramp back up and want to go full out in his recovery while being mindful of not overdoing it again

Per Trudell

Kendrick Nunn on getting healthy: “It’s been going good. I feel well now. The process was slow, as you know. It started to pick up this summer. Started with 1-on-1, then 3-on-3 … now 5-on-5. I feel real good going into the season. I feel healthy now. I'm ready."

KNUNN FEELS GOOD

Per Goon

Kendrick Nunn took a moment to acknowledge his first full practice in about a year after missing last season: "Getting the rhythm back and feeling good on the floor with no injuries, feeling pain-free and able to play is everything for me. So today was a good day for me."

Per Trudell

Kendrick Nunn reiterated his comments on media day that he’s feeling fully healthy. “It’s been a long time coming, and I feel real good now. I feel a lot stronger. I got my quickness back.”

GENERAL PRACTICE UPDATE

As expected. Pelinka said this on media day.

Per Trudell

Injury update:

Troy Brown Jr. is still dealing with his back issue and is day-to-day, while Lonnie Walker IV is progressing and close to returning to practice (he was on the floor shooting 3’s after practice).

Kendrick Nunn was a full participant.

GENERAL PRACTICE DAY 2 UPDATE

As expected…it’s tuff to get out of Berl..in…

Per Trudell

Troy Brown Jr (back) and Lonnie Walker IV (ankle) are still working back from injury. Dennis Schroder has yet to arrive with the Visa issues, but Ham expects him to integrate quickly once he arrives.
