Melo hit 5 out of 10 3-point shots yesterday. And his 3-point shooting percentage went down!

He's leading the league in 3-point percentage among those with 50+ attempts.

Still, I don't like Melo to end games, especially games like last night. I like Melo to help us clear deficits, or to extend leads. Vogel overplayed both Melo and Westbrook last night, and it cost us.

Dont know what line-up you would have gone with. But the other 4 guys Baze/Monk/Rondo/Ellington stunk it up. I’ll give Ellington a pass since its his first game of the season.

It’s the start and mid 4th that pretty much lost us the game… End of first half too.

How many games has Carmelo kept the Lakers in now?

They have a losing record if it wasn’t for him

Melo has been huge. TO think so many were annoyed by his signing. Been the 3rd best guy by a healthy margin.

Kind of pathetic he barely even touched the ball at the end of the 4th and OT.. Dude is scorching hot but ef it let's go with AD and Westbrook milking the clock deep on the perimeter.

Nothing but love for Melo though, he's arguably the MVP or at least right there with AD with his ridiculous shooting and surprising defensive effort thus far in the season. Insane for a vet min guy but the rest of the team needs to step up.

52% from 3 this season at 6.9 attempts per game!

Melo should be taking at least 10 attempts per game!

If he carries this kind of form all year, we will do great. He's on firex2

Despite the fact that he hasn't won a chip, people really need to remember that Melo, statistically is one of the clutchest dudes out there. Just like Joe JOhnson, you don't think of him in that vein but there was a long period where he was outlier levels of good in the clutch.

Moral? Brodie. STOP SHOOTING. Get Melo some more shots when the game is tight.

When Lebron is 100% and he's on the floor...no basketball decision making should be made by ever be made by Westbrook.

This may come across as wrong, but the last dude who got me so excited shooting the ball from the wing was Bean. Staples feels it too. There's so much resemblance there. I don't know why. I just feel like it's like having a mini-Kobe assassin out there. It's so much fun. I feel Staples senses it too. They appreciate the incredible shot making skills and killer shooting mentality.

I feel that vibe too. It’s super fun to watch. What’s even more impressive is he going any forcing anything and he plays within the offense. He’s a true super star in his role.

I hope this begins to translate on the road as well for Melo.

It's not just the 3 pt shooting, he is also punishing dudes on the block. That can be valuable in the playoffs when games slow down.

The unit of melo, reaves, Wayne, Russ and dwight actually did pretty well. It gives Westbrook way more space

It’s not like he hasn’t been doing the same thing on the road for his whole career, I expect him to do the same thing in hostile environments.

1/16 from the 3 in 3 road games so far. I hope he can shoot a little better on the road
