Side: I'm not a fan of how clutch is defined.
What if a player had a clutch game where the player dominates and the game isn't even close by the end?
And why is a 5 point game considered clutch time? Why not a 2 point game?
Haha. I'm just venting. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!!
These kind of clutch statistics are always dubious. Because we are talking about a small number of shots, a tiny change in the arbitrary criteria can make a huge difference in how guys are ranked.
To me, the bigger point is hardly anyone shoots well in these situations.

These formulas are always full of holes. According to this one, if your team is down 105-100 with one second left, and you throw a full court shot for the hell of it, that's a "clutch" shot. I do not understand how a shot that can literally have no impact on the game be considered clutch.
