Love Phil as a coach and was all fit his leadership for our 3peat...but his use of posse in relation to Rich/Klutch/Bron along with these supposed quotes from his Maverick: More Than a Game book, uh maybe Pip is onto something haha.

So weird. I just saw the whole interview with Dan Patrick and Scottie Pippen where Scottie clarifying some of the controversy out there rn. Then I come here and see the pj racist quotes. Thats nuts....pjax the zen master....or just Master.
Pip just wants attention. LOL _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold & contain life, but the quality of life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

Pip has a lot going on right now. His son just died a month or two ago. He may truly believe what he's saying, but he's coming off as a little unhinged. I'm sure that is playing a decent part in his sour grapes tour right now

They are his posse. It's not racist, it's factual. If you don't want to get labeled as a dick rider, then don't ride Lebron's dick to fame and money. Or, you know, do it, because it's awesome, but take the fact that some of us are going to call you things like - dick rider, posse, entourage, clowns, grifters, hanger-ons, etc.
^^^ I’m not trying to get into a discussion about what is politically, morally or ethically correct. Just here for Lakers & hoop talk and in this circumstance was just the messenger. However, that posse term clearly struck a nerve with Maverick, Rich and Bron’s camp.
Unless you sincerely believe Sterling was the only one, racial undertones are clearly prevalent in the league today. You can simply look at the ownership/exec/coaching posse to see how painfully obvious it is.

Because they are tall children.
All I'm saying is PJ wasn't dog whistling. If he called them a gang, that would be one thing, but posse is fine and while PJ definitely meant it as a dig, I don't think he intended it to be a racial one.

Seriously tho, I get what you’re saying. But honestly we really don’t know what happens in private. I’m sure no one wants to really air out anybody, but Phil could have made them feel a certain way behind the scenes.
Either way, Pip has liquor to sell. I’m sure this type of buzz helps
It could just be that Phil is actually a 75-year old rich, white, male racist from Montana. I'd imagine that club is not exclusive. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

I don’t get the hate for lbj’s crew. A lot of us would be in a much better place and be able to get spread our talents more of the financial help was there. Can we deny that rich white people don’t help out their friends too which leads to their success as well?
Phil was and (bleep) and if those quotes are true, certainly has racists thoughts from time to time.

That quote was calling Pippen a white boy..wasn't it?
"Subordinating their own personal glory for the good of the group"
In truth I believe we are most commonly a product of our environment moreso than racial characteristics
If you blend what Phil was saying he he seemed to put it all in a societal perspective... if you keep holding the Black man back the strongest and boldest will rise up.. Whites have it more comfortable in USA and do not have to prove as often who is strongest toughest etc.. Society is on their side in the equation which leads me to think they would potentially be more open to trusting a system...
^^ stoned ramblings..
*Even today racial minority athletes and NBA players are called racial slurs by deranged fans..
