Momentum shifts so quickly. After game 3 the Lakers had all the momentum and possibly instilled a bit of doubt in the Suns. With AD going down, the Suns will play with more confidence too |

This is actually a good thing, we don’t have to limp out a banged up AD out there which the Suns will exploit. Now whomever Vogel chooses to give minutes today in the game planning will be mentally ready. If we are truly a title contender than we will dig deep and win this game. _________________ Back to Back Yeah, Yeah...and you know that!

The two players whom the Lakers need to target the most are cp3 and Ayton. We cannot allow them to just camp or hide on defense all game. CP3 is too small and too slow to guard Dennis, and Ayton is basically just sitting in the paint all game doing nothing. We need to punish them or we will go home. Lebron could greatly increase our chances to win if he can get Ayton in foul trouble. |

If we can score 110, we will win. It doesn’t even matter how great our defense is if we can’t score well enough to win games |

Same. It’s hard to be excited when you know at some point the offense is gonna stall out. It’s happened every game but this time no AD. |

I have a good feeling about tomorrow’s game even without AD, LeBron has always loved the challenge of carrying a team when there back is against the wall. |

No more excuses. Schroeder, Kuzma, Drummond, all of you ...... we need you badly, and it's now or never. Step up and keep our playoff hopes alive. Please! |

Perused some of the talking heads and Nick Wright pointed out the Lakers are something like +37 with LBJ on the floor, -33 when he is off the floor in the series.
With that said, the further stat they did not go into was of the +37, how much is that with AD out there as well.
AD faced the Suns this year for 4.5 games. In 3 of those games, he was an auto-win button, Suns could not stop him, and Lakers got the W.
Hopefully LBJ can summon a super efficient game, e.g. 12-19 or 14-21, get to the FT line and be efficient from there, score about 35. With that and teammates involved / doing their job, they should win. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. Quote: | The Suns hunted McLemore in Q4 of game 4.
LA conceded automatic switches easily several plays in a row, setting CP3 up to drive on McLemore and generate good offense for the Suns.
McLemore as a negative on and off-ball defensively makes him an easy target for the Suns. |
This is the problem with McLemore. He can’t really guard and Booker/CP3 will exploit it every time he’s on the floor. |

Yes, LeBron is going to need some of the other guys to step up offensively. AD or not, the rest of the roster needs a few guys to bring it in Game 5 or this season is going to be coming to an abrupt stop. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Schrö has had positive moments and Drumm is having a good series IMO
But this is very definitely a paging Kyle Kuzma moment. He’s had good energy but it’s time for a bro to produce in the tangible stats kinda way. |

Our team is fully capable of beating Phoenix without AD if everyone showed up. Believe!
Time to whip out the emotional pre-game speech, Frank. We're gonna need it, now. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

I would roll out a lineup of
DS
KCP or Wes
Lebron
Trezz
Gasol
Kieff the main big off the bench. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

Lebron will need to get to the line at minimum of 10 free throw attempts. We cannot afford long misses on threes as we will get killed in transition. We must control pace and slow the game way down. Lebron isos and post ups, and role players have to knock down at least 35% from three to have a chance. If we can do all that we will be in the game till the final five minutes and I like our chances much better than the suns in that scenario. We absolutely cannot be down double digits going into the fourth, need to have some realistic shot to win. |

Quote: | Schröder | AC | Wes | Bron | Gasol
Today: 150 ORtg & looked unstoppable in Q4. Was LA's most used lineup.
It forces Ayton to defend Gasol & be taken away defensively w/Gasol's spacing.
On the season:
126.5 ORtg
116.6 DRtg
+9.9 Net
I'd start with that in G5 if w/o AD. |
I still wouldn’t play Trezz. This has been a dog fight and the games are on the lower end of scoring. I wouldn’t put Trezz in there with AD being unavailable. We need great defense to win G5. Take our chances with LBJ/Dennis/Gasol generating the offense and stellar, elite defense with as little breakdowns as possible. |

Indeed... and what I find pretty disappointing in game 4 is how "flat" the team came out of the gates to start the game.
After the Lakers thouroghly dominated points inside the paint in game 3, the coaching staff HAD to know the Suns will pack the paint yet again like they did in game 1
And still even more strange is how Ayton has not been in any sort of foul trouble the entire series... that dude is foul-prone to the core. |
