I would be surprised if he plays at least this series, even in next couple of weeks. He should not try to tough it out and play if he's hurt with a groin injury.

This guy has some good takes. Even a grade 1 strain, AD is done for this series
Honestly we can beat the Suns and even win the next series without AD. Lebron needs to step it into that other gear we know he has and Schroder needs to maintain his level from Games 2 and 3. Lastly, when Kuzma is given freedom to play free with lots of minutes, he usually plays well. We need either him or Markieff to step up huge here and make their shots. Where we will really miss AD is on defense. Only way to counter that is to make shots
He landed on dude's leg, that wasn't non contact. He even got hit in the head on the play for good measure
yeah looking again, that was def a foul on Crowder and you're right, he did land on Ayton's foot which led to that injury. still sort of non-contact that pressure on his foot led to his groin. not good

We can beat the suns, but I don’t see us go far without A healthy ad or at least an 80% one

Crowder clearly fouled him on that play, and obviously not called

Been maddening to watch the refs not protect the Lakers inside. They have literally allowed the Suns to just beat up the Lakers with no consequences. I think game 5 that may change, would not surprise me to see 1) Lakers have 30+ trips to the line 2) a huge b$%^ session afterwards by the Suns. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. I think from this day forward, AD is a liability. His frame and style of play just seems to put too much pressure on his body to withstand the rigors of the NBA at this stage. I foresee the coaching staff trying to rest him and find ways to keep him fresh and avoid injury and that reduces his impact to the overall strategy and strength for this Lakers team
