Last year we needed to address the shooting and what do we do? Sign Trez who can't space the floor, trade for a guy that can't space the floor, and completely ignore the big guy that can space the floor.

Regardless of us playing bad, this game has been officiated terrible...and I'm not even worried. Are we supposed to be impressed W the Suns winning on their home floor just because Mavs and Blazers both won on the road?
We win the next one, and we're right back in this, but only if the Officiating gets a lot better, and we play a bit better.

I love KCP but going 1/7 from 3pt land hurts ..... a lot of those were wide open. |

AD has to play the 5 for at least 35 of the 48 minutes.
He also can’t be Bambi version of AD.
If we don’t get dominant AD and specifically at the 5, Lakers will lose this series.

Can’t rely on history to keep repeating itself like it’ll be all good in game 2.
Too often today we forced a 3 early in the clock instead of setting up a better look. There needs to be adjustments for next game.
This game was actually there for the taking today and all it would’ve took was better execution offensively and probably a bit more effort on the glass.

Biggest change I would make is DS coming off the bench, whether he wants it or not. That's not his call to make.
Caruso is great, but he really provides no consistent punch. We still need someone that can score off the bench.
Our starting lineup should be LBJ-AD-KCP-Caruso-Gasol, period.
Also, I'd find some time for Kieff.

I think Davis will bounce back next game but we can see why Harrell was not a high priority signing for the Flippers. Gotta try Gasol.
Really wish we we signed someone like Batum who can guard guys like Booker and hit some shots. KCP is not a great defender and Matthews is not consistent on offense

| Would love to see Gasol on Ayton for a little bit. Maybe even just for the first 4 or 5 minutes of the game to see what its like. Put a body on Ayton and block him out a bit better |
