Well, not an ideal situation. DS, LBJ out...and the only guy out for the Clippers is a dude named...Scrubb? So I guess the Clippers have no "scrubs" playing in the game, hmmm...(ok, bad joke)
In any event, we know this will be an uphill game, likely an L (especially if you are betting) as the Clippers LOVE to get up for the Lakers. So let's focus on what they need to do to win:
-Defense
-MVP type play from AD
-THT / AC play well
-Dont let Clips go nuts with the 3; meanwhile, Lakers need to be decent from 3
If the above happens, Lakers have a shot at taking the game. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

Clippers barely beat the Toronto D squad last game so they aren’t the juggernaut they are being portrayed as. Ironically the way that Toronto defended them was very intelligent as any time George or Leonard touched the ball they doubled hard. They let Reggie Jackson, rondo, demarcus take as many shots as they wanted. It nearly worked. The problem the last time we played the clippers is Marcus Morris killed us. Need to pay attention to the scouting report this time around and give up more shots to lesser players.

Let's go!! Huge game tonight and tomorrow. Gotta win both to keep Clippers at 4 seed and keep Blazers behind us. Denver first round match up would be a huge benefit so LeBron can heal up and we can build continuity against a team who doesn't match up well with us. _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant

Trezz is set up perfectly to release the cracken on his old team. Hopefully Rondo doesn't do the same.
Drummond is going to need to dominate Zub.
AD/Kawaii more or less cancel each other out so Kuz is going to need to play some INSPIRED def. against 'Side Board George'
I might like that better than 'Way off P' _________________ “You can't be held captive by the fear of failure or the fear of what people may say.” - Kobe Bryant

Trez has released the kracken, he's averaging 18/8 against his former team, problem is he's been a net -5 plus/minus because he gives up more points than he scores _________________
I trip that Trez is such a crappy defender. Is it purely that he's undersized? Can't he switch to the opposing teams PF on defense? Let AD take on their center?
I mean he's young, strong as hell, loads of bravado and energy. Has a very good defensive minded coach in Vogel. Makes no sense.

He has the potential which is why I was excited to see him sign with us and have Vogel in his ear but if you watch his determination and effort on the offensive side versus the defensive side it's pretty much night and day tbh. He has shown spurts throughout the year and played a bit better kind of like the game after he got benched for Gasol but it's not very common at all sadly. Sometimes he's simply outmatched but much of the time that's not even the case at all and he still gets burnt.
It will be interesting to see how he plays Cousins tonight. We def. can't let guys like Cousins go off without Lebron.
I think the Lakers actually have a great shot at this one if they play with anywhere near the defensive intensity as they did in the Nuggets game. The Clips haven't been playing that great in at least the last 4-5 games.
Well damn, that's a huge loss with Dennis and Bron already out. It's more important then even usual to get Gasol out there so hopefully Vogel steps into Playoff mode for the next couple and makes the smart adjustments.
Play in tourney here we go!!!! Sucks with all the injuries but I'm being realistic, team is broken much like my defending champion Dodgers are but way easer to make the playoffs in the NBA than MLB.
