Favre can't resist the urge to defend Chauvin. He knows it's an unpopular opinion. And still ... he has to say it.

Favre 2024?

Farve proved to be a (Y) by keeping Aaron Rodgers on the bench for years and flip-flopping about retiring. I'm shaded on calling him a racist but I'm leaning in that direction.

If more things like this occur as a result of the Chauvin trial and conviction, maybe change really can come:

Maryland officials to launch review of cases handled by ex-chief medical examiner who testified in Chauvin’s defense

Top Maryland officials are launching an investigation of all deaths in police custody that were overseen by the state’s former chief medical examiner who testified in Derek Chauvin’s defense, the Maryland attorney general and governor’s offices announced Friday.

Raquel Coombs, a spokeswoman for Attorney General Brian E. Frosh, said the office has been in internal discussions about launching a probe for the past couple of weeks and recently reached out to Gov. Larry Hogan’s office about how to proceed.

David Fowler, who was Maryland’s chief medical examiner from 2002 to 2019, served as a key witness for Chauvin, whose high-profile trial ended this week with a jury convicting the former Minneapolis officer of murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd.

Fowler broke with the Hennepin County medical examiner, among others, to classify Floyd’s killing as “undetermined” and not a homicide. Floyd was seen in viral video gasping for breath while pinned under Chauvin’s knee. Fowler testified that the primary cause of Floyd’s death was cardiac arrhythmia during police restraint due to underlying heart disease. He also said that Floyd’s drug use and exposure to carbon monoxide from the police car contributed to his death.

Oh he’s 200% a racist. It’s beyond evident.

It’s crazy to me when you can play a sport like football and still manage to hate color. Like what were u doing and thinking in the locker room? Weird.

So many white people can interact with and even seem friendly with black people in their public life, but hate them or merely believe they are grossly inferior and prone to “behaviors” privately.

And African American "intellectuals" like Thomas Sowell, Jason Whitlock, Candace Owens make good money off of them.
It's an easy grift too. Just blame Black "culture", preach individualism, and ignore data.

I remember reading about a guy who was going around and documenting lynchings. He was surprised by two things: the first was how helpful the people were with providing records. The second was how open they were in support of why those lynchings were necessary, and how they would stop to help a black person and call her “miss (insert first name)” and be wonderfully personal and friendly, and then when the black person left, drop the smile and go right back to talking about how things were better when they knew, or were taught, their place.

Might be the opening to a new trial:

DEREK CHAUVIN APPEAL
FIGHT FOR NEW TRIAL WILL RAISE JUROR
And His Photo at MLK Rally

I side with the professor, not enough. It wasn't a BLM event.

She also makes a good point about Mitchell's POV being communicated early and often -- he relayed that he supported BLM during questioning, and still wasn't ruled out at the time.

BS. The facts aren't different and the law isn't different. It's a ploy and I really hope it gets slapped down.

It's the shirt that is going to be the issue.

The Derek Chauvin trial juror who was photographed at an MLK rally last year -- wearing a shirt with the words "Get your knee off our necks" -- will absolutely be a key factor in Chauvin's attempt to get a new trial ... a pretty clear reference to George Floyd's killing.

Maybe. I still side the professor. He said he supported BLM during jury questioning. Though you have a good point about the Tee shirt.
