Lakers pull out the "thriller" 96-93.
Just an ugly game in many ways. There would be good stretches, some really bad stretches. Some SMH stretches.
DS, Trez, Kuz, and Kieff either had double doubles or scored 20
Not really the kind of game to feel good about as the Magic are truly a bad team. But, again, will take the W as the team is just doing whatever it needs to get W's now.
However, yet another Laker got injured: Wes. Last shot of game, a 3, he was guarding it. Something happened that had him grab his ankle in the all too familiar writhing fashion we've seen happen this year already. Not good. I hope he's ok. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Wes Matthews was down and holding his right ankle after that final look from Otto Porter Jr. He got up and gingerly walked to the locker room. |

Good job by Wes on the contest of the last shot...With that said, I def. would have just taken the foul, and not risk it. |

In some moments, Kieff's voice eerily sounds like Kobe's to me. Anyone else think that? [at least in this post game interview] _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z |

Marc can go the bench and really they need him ...
Alex Wes THT
> 3/13 field goal
> 2/8 three point shooting
> 4 turnovers
> 10 points
Those three besides the cavs game have been god fn awful since Bron went down and offered nothing to support the starters |

Orlando is something like 15-31, with only 5 road wins.
Our team minus LBJ and AD SHOULD be able to easily win against a team like Orlando. But alas.........
P.S. For the Gasol supporters in here.......how can he ONLY get 2 rebounds in a game (like most games)? Even little Caruso had more rebounds. and some people here want to complain about Drummond? LOL |

Kuzma minutes are too high. He played 40 mins tonight too so he’s really the one absorbing all the minutes on the team. But to jump from 25 to 39 a night on average since Bron got hurt is a lot this late in the year. Another double double again and still leading this team in boards too since AD and Bron have gone down. Assist at 4 like he’s been averaging since they went down as well.
Dennis played one of his best games in terms of ball control. He reminded me a lil bit of Billups when he stopped on a dime and made a guy foul him from behind.
Trez is a beast. He carrying a second unit of dead weight single handedly.
Markieff is Markieff. Produced when given the time like always |

Caruso and THT have been holding an in-game competition to see who can play as horrible as possible in as little time as possible. So far I would say Caruso won that award, as he nearly torpedoed the game away in the fourth quarter in about three minutes. |

Caruso tends to rebound the stuff he misses p, which is a lot and has been a lot without Bron. He’s been shooting in the 30s since Bron got hurt. So has Wes and Tucker. They better rebound the ball |

They are too inconsistent for my liking right now. You can also throw in KCP in that mix. No Lebron/AD. KCP needs to take more than 4 shots as a starter playing 30 minutes. |

So are we still worry about some team come in and offer AC and THT 10 mil? |

You are welcome. People post comments in there sometimes but we try not to chatter too much in that one so it doesn’t go off into the zone lol, and so it’s just easier to read. |

I agree with you. He has to shoot more or Frank has to call sets for him more. He gets his handful of shots with the starters. But he don’t get looked at in the second unit and honestly he should be looked for over Caruso and Tucker there off screens because he’s a career double digit scorer. Only silver lining is that he wasn’t hurt when he asked for them to call a timeout in the first because he thought he hurt his groin.
Markieff played the most minutes he has all year with 32 and produced so it’s a plus |

Unless Andre needs to do things first I can see this tune changing but for now this is what Vogel is saying.

Alex Wes THT vs Orlando
> 3/13 field goal
> 2/8 three point shooting
> 4 turnovers
> 10 points
Kuzma - 40 mins 21pts 11rebs 4asts
Dennis - 36mins 24pts 6asts 5rebs
Trez - 28mins 18pts 11rebs 2stls 2blks
KCP - 30mins 4pts 3rebs 3asts 1stl 1blk (took 4 shots, got to be more)
Marc - 20mins 7pts 2rebs 3asts 1stl
Kieff - 32mins (season high) 12pts 11rebs
Drummonds biggest benefit is maybe you knock Kuz down to closer to 35 minutes which people are going to say it’s just 4 minutes of game time less p. But in actual time that’s 15mins less on his feet depending on how a game is going.
He will also send Marc to the bench and let him make the decisions that Caruso THT Wes aren’t handling well at all. He can stretch out the floor better for them than Trez and defend the C spot while playing like a stretch 4 on O to still let Trez eat. Trez won’t have to guard the paint as he can be on the perimeter and make switches some. |

Vogel almost messed up not fouling at the end there and running that Trezz iso on that pivotal play.
With our brutal upcoming schedule will take any win we can get |
