Because he has one elite skill (rebounding) and is mostly empty stats. But then again, lots of people like empty stats players like Drummond, Cousins, etc.

Agreed, he’s another one of those guys that would’ve been very valuable about 10-20 years ago. His rebounding is still top notch, but the (unfortunate) consequence of having a perimeter oriented league means that bigs like him are being phased out and forced to take on limited roles/opportunities
Drum for vet min but in all seriousness I wouldn’t mind Lakers having an extra center as ins for that price. Wonder if he would’ve accepted that to stay in LA rather than join his nemesis Joel in Philly. _________________
Drummond signing for the vet min is interesting, particularly as it isn't exactly a 'prove it' deal being stuck behind Embiid
For them, Drummond is probably the better fit, as Philly lacked good bench depth last year. Howard the better fit for us, though _________________ #18 next...
