The houston games will be a test

They will treat that game like any other game... Their not proving any point right now. They just going along with the season process.

If they played like they did for the past 2 games, they probably can’t beat houston.

Just saying I won't be surprise if they lose to playoff teams early in the season. They are not going 100% right now.

Gotta rack up these wins against mediocre teams in case we hit a slump against tough competition during the reg season.

Lakers win 108-94.

Funky game. Lakers were getting their heads beaten in during a 25-5 run by the Griz in the first quarter as the Griz posted 36 points that quarter.

After that, order got restored - primarily with the defense. They started showing at 3 shooters, tightening up the D. After that first quarter mess for D, Lakers would not give up more than 21 in any quarter the rest of the way.

While I would have liked to have seen the Lakers put this away much, much earlier and not be embarrassed in any quarter, the fact is the Lakers showed again they may not have it all on offense but have potential on D. Specifically, they can turn it up another level and keep themselves in the game. I am not convinced many teams can do that as from what I've seen early many count on hot shooting to win.

Ugly game, but will take the W. Bench played well (especially Trez). While DS shooting was off his D at times was incredible.

Bad news for Griz: AD had a bad shooting night (6-15). He will go off on them the next game.

Memphis was without their lone all star in Morant, and without him, they are likely like a 15 win team, so I think this is not any kind of significant win, but after a horrird effort to start, we wound up dominating the game at the close like the talent discrepancy should have indicated.

Non-superstar (AD-Bron) player of the game is Trez. At a perfect time, as AD was struggling with his shot early and he came in and made an impact.

Just in time to catch the end of this Nets game. Good god Beal is fast.

Westbrook up to his old tricks, shooting 7-25. So many wasted possessions, but don't say that on reddit. The downvotes are intense from the Westbrook homers.

They can beat 75% of the league just by showing up.

Was watching the game on Grizzlies telecast and he even mention how Lebron coasted all game just to take over the 4th. Said it was such a luxury to have the roster we got

Kind of game where scrubs start shooting hot and for some teams they may just kinda say "fine, early season, lets just regather the next game"...Lakers didnt quit so I'm happy about that. Do agree, however, that these games should not be like this - they need to end earlier.

Exactly, just grind out victories vs. the mediocre teams and win our fair share against the good teams while focusing on health and building towards the post season.

Good win as they all are, hopefully they can get the next one too as they are catching Griz at a good time without Ja "Rule" Morant.

Crazy how he just turned it on... End of 3rd he had like 9pts shooting 40% and 25% from 3... Finished the game with 22pts 56% and 50% from 3.

If the Clippers beat the Suns, there will be a 3-way tie for first place in the WC between the Suns, the Clippers and the Lakers.

They were messing around, but buckled down in 4th.

Good W, just keep improving and minimizing the bad habits.

Only shot 34% from three but kept the turnovers to 10. Keep the turnovers down and the three point percentage up and the Lakers win.

As usual as PG13 started on fire. But come playoffs you wont see any of that.

Clips will not get any respect unless wayoff p shows he can win in the playoffs.

Lou is an offensive guru and will use PG better than Doc did

At the end of the 3rd quarter, they are only down by 7.

Feels like we really need a rim protector. Gasol can’t jump, Trez and Kieff just too short. While we still have AD, we can’t overwork him too much. Damn I wish we still have Dwight.
