We thought Lebron was going to get more rest this season, not if everyone else is going to fall asleep. LBJ looked pretty pissed at that last lazy play.
Bad habits forming for sure.

End of 1, Lakers down 36-25. Lakers opened up a 13-4 lead, then their defense just became absolute trash. Outscored 32-12 rest of the quarter. This was double emphasized by hot 3 shooting by Memphis (a number of shots wide open, no one guarding the shooter or close to them) who at end of 1st missed a 3 (making them I believe 6-9 from 3 for the quarter), but they grabbed the offensive board as Lakers D fell asleep as buzzer ended and allowed an easy layup.
Hard one to watch since the D looks absolutely atrocious the past few minutes. Hopefully they kick it up a notch. |

It is the defense. Guys - starters like Schroder and Kuzma do not take pride in not losing their man and taking the challenge on.
Bron and AD, they are not going all out on D either.
Offense comes and goes, but is the defense. They showed last game they can play elite D, but it comes in a spurt at the end of the game. These habits start to form .. defense is a 48 minute thing. Offense comes and goes. |
