Justin Herbert injury update: Chargers QB suffered possible rib injury vs. Chiefs, Brandon Staley says

I would expect him to play next week, since it's not an actual rib fracture but a cartilage issue. They'll suit him up with a flak jacket, I'm sure, and painkilling injections. But I'm not a doctor, I'm just playing one on LG. |

I think it takes rib cartilage fracture takes about 6 months to heal. Justin will be in pain for some time. Are there medications to help with the pain? What is his threshold? It's my understanding just breathing can cause pain when you have a cartilage fracture.

Are you kidding me? Did you watch Miami vs Baltimore? Miami was down 28 7 in the 3. Tua has thrown 3 TD passes in the 4 to tie the game 35 35.
