Herbert must be hurt. He could have walked for a 1st down but he threw the ball away.

Yet another total choke job by the Chargers in a game that they should have won going away. Chargers gonna Charger. 'Tis inevitable.

Justin Herbert injury update: Chargers QB suffered possible rib injury vs. Chiefs, Brandon Staley says

LINK

Quote:
Friday morning, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Herbert underwent X-rays following the game and they appeared to be negative, but there was no definitive word as to whether there was any other injury to his ribs, rib cage or rib cartilage.
Rapoport said Herbert will be undergoing more tests on Friday.

"A couple of important things here. First of all, just because his X-rays are negative if that is the case on his ribs, doesn't necessarily mean he's out of the woods. There is rib cartilage issues, which we've seen, which can actually be more painful. There's internal injuries which is obviously the most scary and we're not going to know until he goes through a battery of tests today

The choke jobs by the Chargers literally go back decades.

Just a brutal history of painful come from ahead defeats.

The Chargers looked like the better team. They lack experience. As the season goes on they'll gain that experience and confidence. They lost the game on a fluke goal line int.

I would expect him to play next week, since it's not an actual rib fracture but a cartilage issue. They'll suit him up with a flak jacket, I'm sure, and painkilling injections. But I'm not a doctor, I'm just playing one on LG.

You must have missed the Bills opening game against the Rams.

I think it takes rib cartilage fracture takes about 6 months to heal. Justin will be in pain for some time. Are there medications to help with the pain? What is his threshold? It's my understanding just breathing can cause pain when you have a cartilage fracture.

I saw the game. I'm saying in this particular game the Chargers looked to be better than the Cheifs.

Are you kidding me? Did you watch Miami vs Baltimore? Miami was down 28 7 in the 3. Tua has thrown 3 TD passes in the 4 to tie the game 35 35.

EDIT: DOLPHINS WIN!!!!! Tau threw 6 TD passes 4 the in the 4th quarter

If the Bengals don't shore up their O line Burrows won't last the season. He got sacked 6 times last week. I think the Cowboys sacked him 6 times today.

Jaylen Hurts may be the Eagles QB of the future. He's passed for 1 TD and rushed for 2.
