Lamar Jackson has to be the most accurate wobbly passer in the league. His passes don't spiral, they wobble but they are on target.

Over or under 50% Gronk will play this season. I believe if Tampa Bay is in the running at mid-season Gronk will play. I have over

The accident scene suggests a high speed impact. They closed off three lanes and some on ramps.

That poor 5 year old kid with life-threatening injuries paired with what looks like a life-altering event, providing that he survives. And his 4 year old having to witness the maiming of his brother. I hope Britt Reid stays in jail, but I know better.

1) Chevy Imapala ran out of gas on the on-ramp of a freeway. Bad decision no. 1 (driving around on an empty tank).

2) They called family to come help instead of AAA or a tow truck. Bad decision no. 2.

3) The family member that came to help also brought along their 4 yr old and 5 yr old in the back seat (probably couldnā€™t get a baby sitter). Horrible decision no. 3.

Man, imagine how the driver of the Impala feels right now for running out of gas...

Quote:
According to Kansas City, Missouri, police, a Chevrolet Impala that had run out of gas was sitting on the entrance ramp from Stadium Drive to I-435.

The driver had called family for help, which arrived in a Chevrolet Traverse and parked in front of the disabled car.

While attempting to get the vehicle running again, a white Dodge Ram Laramie Sport pickup truck traveling on the entrance ramp ā€” which Britt Reid admitted to police he was driving, according to a search warrant ā€” struck the left front of the stranded Impala.

The driver of the stranded vehicle was inside the car at the time and wasnā€™t injured, but the Ram truck continued forward and also struck the right rear of the Traverse.

A 5-year-old child in the backseat of the Traverse suffered life-threatening injuries and a 4-year-old, also in the backseat, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to KCPD.

Both children were transported to a local hospital for treatment. A KCPD spokesman told 41 Action News late Friday night the 5-year-old remained in critical condition.

An adult passenger in the front seat of the Traverse was not injured in the crash. Reid received non-life-threatening injuries, investigators said.

Britt Reid accepted a plea deal and plead guilty

He was facing 7 years in prison. Now, heā€™s facing probation to 4 years.

Quote:
Former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid pleaded guilty Monday to felony driving while intoxicated resulting in serious physical injury stemming from a 2021 crash that occurred when his pickup truck struck two stopped cars on an interstate entrance ramp and seriously injured a 5-year-old girl.

Reid, the 37-year-old son of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, had been scheduled to go to trial on Sept. 26.

He had faced up to seven years in prison, but the plea deal means he now faces a possible sentence ranging from probation to four years in prison.

Denver has had 3 offensive drives so far. Not a single WR target yet. At this rate, Sutton and Jeudy might request trades at halftime!

This is why you play the games....Seahawks were supposed to be a tanking team and Broncos were supposed to be a contender in the AFC West.

That was EMBARRASSING from Hackett today. The (lack of) execution near the goal line, and endless parade of running plays with the play clock coming up near 0 (something the Packers are known for), which affected things near the goal line with the crowd in a full frenzy, and, finally, that time management in the final minute and the decision to go for a 64-yard FG. I seriously couldn't believe what I was watching.

Can't believe they went for the FG instead of trusting Russell Wilson to get 5 yards.

There was a lot to be baffled about during that game for both sides, but that final decision was the most. And there was much embarrassment to go around, starting with the 'Hawks fans booing Wilson and the distribution of 12>3 signs.

Maybe Hackett couldn't get Super Bowl XLIX out of his head.

Hackett doing as bad a job so far as his Dad did at USC. Brutal game and clock management and he was babbling in the post game press conference like a meth head

Actually, they didn't lose that SB because Carroll didn't trust Russell, I mean he trusted RW enough to throw a pass over the middle when he should have gone with a Lynch run. Had he gone with the run, and that came up short, then I could see the lack of trust possibility being raised. But that gaffe had nothing to do with trust and everything to do with Pete trying to get cute and go with the unexpected.

I stand corrected. I misremembered the details. Pete made a terrible call he should have given the ball to Beast Mode.

Tonight's Thursday Night Football should be a great game. Herbert vs Mahomes, 2 great QB going at it. Got it on autotune.

Chargers doing a good job keeping Mahomes in the pocket. Patrick looks a little rattled.

Every time I think that, Mahomes pulls some ridiculous pass out of his butt and Chiefs are in the red zone.
