NFL has it going on. Best professional sports league in the USA and it isn't close.

Mahomes is such a joy to watch.

Allen as well. Iā€™ve critiqued him lots, but Iā€™m impressed at how he finished the season. It seems like he has a switch where he can look mediocre or supreme from week to week. Hopefully he can become more consistent; heā€™s a special talent.

The NFL OT rules just got exposed for the obvious flaw. In the post season, the Bills should have a chance to respond.

It was indeed an incredible game. But maybe there needs to be a change to the OT rule, at least for the playoffs.

Not arguing for the college rule, but something where Allen can at least touch the ball.

*Edit: same thought as DMR.

I agree! Always thought it was a dumb rule. What a game! I wouldn't mind a triple OT like the NBA.

They should use the high school/college rule only from the 45 or 5-0 yard line. Keep rotating offenses until someone actually wins.

I would go to the college rule, but do it from the 50 yard line or even your own 40 to make it less likely to get the TD.

Not in a million years were the Chiefs the better team...if played in Buffalo the Bills destroy these hobo's.

So what you're saying is they weren't good enough to win on the road....they got the L rightfully so.

For Buffalo and their fans, all I can say is that ending was Chargers-esque.

Two teams that have never won a Super Bowl.

I'm not sure they'll get over it....I mean this was their best squad in years and they still got beat in heartbreaking fashion. Feels like Sacramento Kings like where they think they finally got the roster to get over the hump in 2002 and yet the Lakers still slapped them back to Earth.

At least Buffalo went to 4 straight. Have the LA Rams won one? I thought I remember them going to a couple in the 70ā€™s.

St. Louis Rams only, LA Rams only made it twice and lost both times.

This better team you speak of had to go to overtime...at home...and score via a dumb NFL rule where the team on Defense doesn't get a chance to get the ball back to try and tie.
That doesn't really scream "better" to me and to use the logic that the team that got the "w" was the better team is rube, 4th grader logic.

The better team shouldn't have let those hobos tie the game with 13 seconds left. And yet they did....see you next year Bills Mafia.

It is so much work to get to that point and essentially Allen puts the team on his back and wins the game twice but they go ultra conservative and bungle the clock combined with playing guys 40 yards from the line of scrimmage in a prevent defense when KC really only need about 40 yards total.

Make them field a kick that bounces and at least 6 seconds runs off the clock, McDermott and staff let the team down and I agree it will be hard to overcome.

Fair enough, keyboard warrior...and who is your team may I ask?

My team is the Rams and I was actually rooting for a good game and hoping the Bills break thru....but as usual they let everyone down again.

Really feel like Chiefs lucked out, and got a BBQ chicken with Cincy next week. To think, all you have to do to make the SB is beat the Bengals...

Bengals got the weakest matchups to make it to the conference championships. I think they will be in for a rude awakening vs the Chiefs.

and of course, you were a fan of the Rams when they sucked for years right? Cause I'm from western NY and supported the Bills when they were bad and I have the receipts...
We're apparently so inept, I guess you could say the Bills are the Rams of the AFC amirite?!

Well I've been watching them since the 80's so I know how bad they were and how they always came up 2nd place to the 49ers and Joe Montana in the NFC West.

The irony is that I was living near St. Louis in the 70ā€™s and in SoCal when the STL Rams won. My own favorite team, the Bears, havenā€™t won in 37 years, it isnā€™t easy to do. At least I was there on Bourbon Street in ā€˜85 along with them. There were Bears in every bar you would go in.

It wonā€™t be easy, I donā€™t think that the Chiefs secondary can deal with Jamar Chase.
