Yes. Didn't mean the better team lost, I meant you can't play any better, especially offensively, and still lose.
They did what they had to do. Was out of their control in the end.

The Bills gave this game away period. All Bass the kicker had to do is kick the ball and keep it inbounds and the clock runs down some of those 13 seconds.
Really hope a reporter asks the coach and kicker if that was a mistake or by stupid design?

This is where I think the Rams may have an advantage. Our dominant D-line can be the great neutralizer for all these QBs left - particularly Mahomes.
Let's get past SF first tho.

The way the game was going a squib kick you make them field seemed like the obvious move to eat up half the time.
Instead they kick away and then go into the Prevent (then win) Defense which went out of fashion in the 1980s.

I think it was by design by McDermott and I told my buddy I was watching it with was an idiotic move. Make them field a squib kick and they have one play max before a FG attempt.
